@@christopheryupele9281 Welcome!!! I hope you enjoy your time here. I love winter. Snow is lots of fun especially if you are in rural areas where there’s lots of deep snow. You can snowshoe, ski, sled etc and make snowmen! Just make sure you have good winter clothing and you will be fine.
Would you say these last couples weeks, with temperatures falling below -10ºC, are normal for November? I've searched for weather records online and in November Calgary doesn't seem to have temperatures that low. Was it considered an "early" cold snap?
Yes, it’s usually not -14 so this year was a bit of a cold snap. September and October were also warmer than usual so the weathers been a bit weird this year
With the constant prairies windchill feels like -10 or worse for 5 months straight no kidding. With proper layers walk is fine, but running outdoor is not realistic
Hi Akash, I don't know about the part-time job situation but my understanding is that there are jobs available but you will have to compete. If you have a strong resume, a good interview, and your hours are flexible you should be solid though. I wish I could help more, are there any other questions I could help with?
I wish I was paid haha. My experience on main roads has been good, I've only had trouble with the smaller roads inside of neighbourhoods. I appreciate your opinion, thanks for sharing!
Must visit once and feel how it feels❄️
Beautiful 😍 my daughter's favourite snow ❄️🌨️
