I remember back in 2017 my wife bought like 20 pairs of crocs on sale and I was like, "Geeze you really like these huh?", didn't even think to check the stock back then and man has it gone up since then! Now I constantly ask her what she's buying next LOL.

I live in Italy and there are lots of people wearing crocs here. Years ago I used to laugh at those who wear crocs, but now I accept the truth, they are too damn comfortable, in fact I have one pair of crocs, also my dad and my brother have one.. from a business view they are growing like crazy in asia, hope it goes to 86$ so I'll start accomulating shares

You missed a key factor. Expansion in Asia! South Korea has the most Crocs stores!
Some of the best investments can come from unlikely places. The fact they are doing well and not everyone wears them means there is room to grow.
I was searching cross new expensive models and this videos popup. First time I brought one pair of cross in 2022 and Hay dude in Feb-23. Since then I never wore any other shoe till today. now i have 4 pairs. Comfort and uniqueness always win over the time. I brought stocks todays price : $96.25 after watching this video as I have plan to buy stock since 2022.
My brother was wearing a comfortable pair of sandals over summer. They looked conventional but they were Crocs

Crocs are amazing. Great for kids. The partnerships are cool too. I think its a well run company, is it going to be the next Nike? probably not. But I see consistent growth for the foreseeable future

My wife went to a specialist market for niche products because she makes handmade chemical free skincare and cleaning products and there was a kid selling crox at the market

I strongly feel your dislike for Crocs played on your estimates. Even I m not a fan of Crocs I see more n more teens wearing Crocs - atleast in Singapore. I feel current product will give them 2 years mileage before they need expand product line growth either by acquiring or developing. 110-120 in near term seems to be achievable and beyond that depends on their creativity.
Older generations only care about what’s in style.
Today’s youth value comfort and practicality

There are TONS of cheap copies here in Sweden since many years. I buy my croc copies for 5 dollars and wear them every day 😎 actually I am wearing them now
About the only stock i made money on in 2022. Great leadership,growth, brand, and gross margin.

Look around you... nearly every single time you are in public with a small crowd, you are guaranteed to see someone (or more than one) wearing crocs. ESPECIALLY young adults and kids, but then you also see adults and seniors wear them! Hey Dude is a great injection into their direct to consumer online business model. I wear my crocs all the time too.
Their moat is their comfortability combined with successful marketing strategies, fueling their high profit margins. Because they are actually a functional footwear, especially for people who stand a lot, they are more of a "staple" than a cyclical "fad" fashion footwear. Just my two cents, I believe they'll continually make sales long term and they have a large growth runway.
I implore you to give me counterarguments, I'm happy to critically analyze my investments from all perspectives.
I consider crocs to be ugly and yet I can’t stop wearing them. I have purchased only a pair and I have used them for now more than three years. When I think of buying a pair I just can’t justify 30 bucks for another pair when the ones I have work just fine (other than thinking that I don’t want to spend money on plastic!) Yet I will buy my new pair soon 😊. There are recommendations I wish to share with the company when I get a chance. Love my crocs!

Peter Lynch would say it is at Fair Value currently. And Ben Graham would be looking at those middle assumptions for an entry point. My RRR would also put me on those middle ranges. Seems to be a good and growing company, but just not the price I would want yet (if I actually wanted to own them 😂).

Didn't Warren Buffet say: Never underestimate a brand ? I think Crocs is a brand, you can see it in the profit margin besides the fact that there are a lots of noname brands out there already. And also there is a big difference in opinion about Crocks. All people laugh about them but those who actually wear Crocs they never stop wearing them

Crocs will stick around as low cost, comfortable footwear. People will continue to wear them in the yard, for low impact outdoor activities, and for jobs where people stay on their feet. The trendy purchases may decline. Some question around whether they will be undercut by low cost competitors over time.
Comfort and convenience don’t go out of style. The idiots saying pragmatism is a fad are why the stock is for sale.
The only real concern is the lack of moat. Profit margins could conceivably compress

I wish you did some research on the company before taping this video. Otherwise it's just typing in random numbers without any fundamental analysis. You didn't even try to figure out why their revenue was flat for so long (it's for good reason) or you didn't bother checking how heydude performed, how much interest they pay on debt etc. What's the point of punching in random numbers without these?
Exactly. These two were just figuring out as they talked about it that they'd bought HeyDude, which had happened in 2022. Give us a break!
All that plugging in numbers into the magic black box and then at the end Paul says "It's just too much of a fad for me", despite having offered no evidence that it is.
Where else to you get ROIC and margins like that, trading at 8x this year's EPS guidance? The company is buying back the stock and paying down debt while generating great margins and is less of a fad risk than ever because of HeyDude diversification. Not impressive DD.
Why on earth they are dropping it like a failed company? Its literally an explosive growth company.

When I was at the hospital with my wife giving birth all the nurses were wearing Crocs. They said they are more comfortable shoe for hard floors.

Crox are necessary in medical industry and they charge a lot for a piece of moulded plastic my missus and kids have them I do not I have leather sandals

Paul just means that he’s overly judgmental of what others wear and that he projects this onto others, expecting them to be overly judgmental of what he wears.
If he were a woman, he’d wear super uncomfortable high heels. And he’d judge women who didn’t.
I'm sincerely baffled by this product. I've never worn them. I've never seen them in person. I've never seen anyone wear them in person. They look like something you'd get at a spa complimentary or wear at a pool.
They quite popular...and apparently very comfy. TBH i never owned a pair so i don't know...mot my stylke though 💁♂️.
