I always liked the original, I won't knock it, but...for me your versions always take it up to the next level, a level that I cannot put into words which is frustrating because there's so much to say when it comes to your music, the guitar part really fits well too. The Epilogue to the movie - which can be considered as Deliver Us (Reprise) - is another worthy option to consider.
This song remembers me all the things that my life could be, but, nevertheless, it wasn't. A place when the feelings and the time is infinite, and just the love that we feel about the beautiful and misterious things that the life offers to us. All traduced on the good loneliness that this movie makes me feel. I feel good, envolved in my sadness castle, but save. It makes me remember all the good moments with the people I love with both happyness and sadness because they were amazing, but in the down part of my heart I know they will not come again and I will not have the chance to feel that moments again in my life...
Mathias was great, I think I would have cried if you added the piano solos, he asked me why you didn't play them on piano. I would like if one day you make a full piano version with every part of the song My Immortal.
