Any thoughts on doing a Tribute song on the passing of Peter Green, the exceptional guitarist from the Original Fleetwood Mac Baby when the sun goes down would be a fitting tribute.................
I find it admirable that some of the foremost proponents of the best of American culture aren't American! Surf music, live, is healthy. On commercial radio it's virtually non-existent in the USA. Sorry!
Well, Adrian, once I saw this with my all-time favorite surf instrumental and all-time favorite movie; I had to become a patron! Now, for the next surf tune, how about wearing an aloha shirt to further fulfill the mood?
Wonderful! When you came in with the melodica I practically snorted my coffee. The only thing that could have made this better is if you'd come on in a bikini and done some slow motion go go dancing at the end. Great fun with a looper!
I just recently discovered your channel and I must say I love it I just finished watching the he endless summer video and was wondering if you had the chance to hear/ do Wingnuts theme also by the sandals
Like you I have never come across this before, having never seen the film. It's very nice and gentle and I like it a lot and as a bonus it gives my missus an opportunity to spit into the melodica. Cheers Adrian 😎🎙🎸✅
Hi how are you? Can you send me the link where you have published the backing track, to be able to execute precisely what you have shown in the video, please?
I dismantled by big board as I'm not really playing live much at the moment. But I might well put together a new one later in the year. Will do a video.
I hope that many now get interested in 'surf music'. This was one of my favorite songs to play....great job . . .you nailed it ! What gauge strings on your JM ? I use 11's !
Well done. "Misirlou" and "Wipeout" and "Pipeline" are great classic surf tunes, but I really love the melancholy feel that "Endless Summer" has. You should check out the theme from "Fantastic Plastic Theme," another great surf tune.
Great video as usual. I would like to learn a Kevin Morby track like "Night time" or whatever. that would be really cool. Thanks a lot for your work. Bye
Awesome track for an awesome film! Thanks so much! Would you be able to look at the track Peter Gunn by Dick Dale? It’s an awesome surf rock track that I haven’t been able to find tabs or tutorials for anywhere
Thanks for a great lesson, let's grab our surfboards and guitars and head out on a surfing safari ! I live in a beach town so this is perfect for me. Thanks !
Thank you Adrienne. Great job. I you have a minute would you listen to the song “modern day romance “ by the nitty Gritty dirt band. The guitar player does some nice steel licks on guitar during the lead break. I can’t for the life of me figure them out. They are very tastefull and sound more like a pedal steel than most I’ve seen taught. If anyone can figure them out I figure you can. Keep up the good work. Love your teaching style.
Lovely and a lot of fun, thank you! I learned about this song the long way around, via a very cool cover by the Donkeys. Would love to hear you take on one of Alisdair MacLean's Clientele tunes someday.
I'm really enjoying your tuition Adrian and benefiting from it hugely, but I really find the presence of the character in the background very distracting and quite off-putting. Surely I'm not the only one here? The poor fellow seems distressed and could probably do with a nice lie down somewhere off camera.
What a terrible comment. Plenty of people enjoy this and its the type of lesson that goes with what Adrian’s channel is all about. No one is saying you have to. You’re the one that needs be asked if you’re OK.
As a little kid I saw this documentary film and I immediately adored the music, it's always in me, you nailed it. :)
Such a great choice. This movie and its sequel were on repeat in my house growing up.

ALBATROSS!
Will there be any Smiths tutorials soon?
I'll try and look at another Smiths track later this year...
Fantastic as ever thank you ...
Can you perhaps undertake a detailed breakdown of Killing Moon like you did with London Calling?
So well done. Keeping surf music alive. Liked the mouth keyboard in the middle. Perfect.thanks very much.
I find it admirable that some of the foremost proponents of the best of American culture aren't American! Surf music, live, is healthy. On commercial radio it's virtually non-existent in the USA. Sorry!
Check out Augustus Pablo for more of the mouth keyboard!
surf is awesome...pipeline next...if you didnt do it already

As talented on the melodica as guitar!
Whenever you post a video I instantly push that like button 🙃
This is awesome. Can’t wait to learn it!! So pleased I signed up to Patreon.
Great lesson. I can now play with the backing track. I appreciate the tabs and now following you on Patreon. It’s a good investment for me,
Adrian, please do a Ghost Riders in the Sky tutorial.
Great tune and playing. Love the cats in the background!
Awesome, great tune.

Your sound, playing, and teaching is great, as usual. Thanks for your work.
A great tune, but this isn't the video for beginners to learn it. It's just too hard to follow- which string, which fret is he on?
Hi how are you? Can you send me the link where you have published the backing track, to be able to execute precisely what you have shown in the video, please?
Cool song that I will learn from you tonight, thank you!
Fantastic mate! The soundtrack of my teen surfing years ....Thank you
What bass are you using in these backing tracks? J, P or neither?
Can you please do a guitar lesson on the maccabees love you better
Wingnut's theme next please Adrian.
Yes, maybe I'll look at that in a follow up vid...
Can you do a guitar lesson on dashboard by modest mouse please
Surf music is some of the best. I saw you have a video of a small pedal board, could we get one of your bigger one?
I dismantled by big board as I'm not really playing live much at the moment. But I might well put together a new one later in the year. Will do a video.
This is beautiful song.
Superb....🐠🌊🏄🏄♀️🏄♂️😎🐟
i think you should move to CA.
Thank you
Oh. My. God. YES! Amazing song. Amazing Guitar. Amazing film. Thanks for posting this!
Great instruction! My buddy and I having been playing this song wrong for decades🙄! Your instruction has helped simplify the playing! Thanks 👍🏻!
Pointless Summer
I hope that many now get interested in 'surf music'. This was one of my favorite songs to play....great job . . .you nailed it ! What gauge strings on your JM ? I use 11's !
Jolly good well done!
Excellent job!!!
Can we get the tabs for the melodica part? Just kidding you.....
Adrian, just blows me away! AWSOME 👍👏👏❤️❤️👍
Very nicely done!
Cheers, Adrian. Good lesson. Really enjoy your channel. Much appreciated.
finally some surf again, thank you! Perhaps you could do some modern psychedelia/garage rock like Night Beats? Cheers
I've always loved this song. Thanks. But now I have to get a Jazzmaster ... and a melodica!
Well done. "Misirlou" and "Wipeout" and "Pipeline" are great classic surf tunes, but I really love the melancholy feel that "Endless Summer" has. You should check out the theme from "Fantastic Plastic Theme," another great surf tune.
Reminds me of the 70s cookery show theme,i think it was called garden kitchen
Not that it matters it was farmhouse kitchen, sorry adrian ,love your work, thanks for all your hard work and help
Great video as usual. I would like to learn a Kevin Morby track like "Night time" or whatever. that would be really cool. Thanks a lot for your work. Bye

The Endless Summer is on Amazon. Pretty corny now but if you were a 12 year old grommet when it came out, wow!
Thanks for a great lesson, let's grab our surfboards and guitars and head out on a surfing safari ! I live in a beach town so this is perfect for me. Thanks !
Great movie, great tune! Also reminds me of music from a western movie. Excellent lesson, Adrian!! Cheers, mate!! :)
Yeah. I definitely need to add this to my strumming practice! Love your videos!
awesome
Excellent excellent and again excellent, a favorite of mine since I was a kid. We saw the move in 66 when I was 8 years old.
nice!

I learned to play this with the melodica parts on the high E string. It flows well when you want to play the song on a single instrument.
Awww! Mate this was epic! I thought you were going to drop in a "reverb-drippy" surf solo but still superb. I like your work
Lovely and a lot of fun, thank you! I learned about this song the long way around, via a very cool cover by the Donkeys. Would love to hear you take on one of Alisdair MacLean's Clientele tunes someday.
Must be nice to have 12” long fingers.
You have such a great ear for nailing tones. I approve of the longer hair, you're looking like Julian Cope these days.
You have my thumbs up just for vibsin' a classic surf film
Bravo😉
So often I have checked out your new videos to find a track I have been working on. Love it.
bloody lovely, thanks Adrian.
I watched this movie a couple of months ago.
any chance you could do a lesson on something by the orielles?
Good warming-up song. 👍👍👍
You made my day! Stoked! - a Cali surfer
Nice my friend. You have the best taste in tunes. How about some Sonic Youth . Teen age riot .
Would need a week's notice, to get a few loose strings for retuning ;)
Surf’s up. Thanks for sharing.
very cool! fun movie for those that have not seen it.
Very nice tune. Thanks.
Melodica! Groovy man!
Wonderful lesson and rendition! Congratulations and cheers, Adrian!
Cheers André!
So so beautifully done!
Beautiful guitar playing
Fun one to play thank you
Love this.. ❤️
THANKS!

What an unknown (at least to me) gem! And the melodica is the icing on the cake. A real Summer treat.
Is everything OK, what makes you think anyone would want to learn this boring mundane noise, still think your a great musician though,

Most of my favourite music is boring mundane noise.
