Placebo effect is just one part of Homoeopathy, the entire pathy does not work on it. Yes, we do prescribe placebo in required cases. The pathy actually works on stimulation of nerves and the dynamic vital energy that makes our body living.
By stimulating them they create an artificial disease of a stronger and similar character to the existing disease. The stronger one kicks out the natural disease and fades away as it was artificially created by the medicines. Hence, leaving the body healthy and free of all existing symptoms.

I do not discard the ancient knowledge of medicine, though I also understand it's limitations. Any amount of turmeric in your diet is not going to cure your Alzheimer's any day( please understand the difference between curing and preventing). Even Rajiv Dixit (fake degree holder) you follow died of heart attack after so much divine knowledge he had.
Ancient medicine methods were a mixture of science and "alchemy"(i.e. metaphysical concepts like spirits etc...). There is no evidence of the latter part hence I discard it for now and urge people to use alternative medicine with proper care and understanding.
Whenever ancient medicinal methods work they are properly given credit. For example 2015 Nobel Prize was given to a Chinese Medicine practitioner for her work. Though she was equipped with modern scientific methods to understand the molecular structure of the herbs she used to cure malaria and it was also revealed that supernatural forces they mention in their Chinese medicine books had no role to play in the curing process.
Also actual medical practitioners have been warning people against all ill habits they follow from drinking soft drinks up to not sleeping enough. However people like you only tend to follow it when it is coated with some quackery.
As far as the commercial products go they are crappy and it is not because of science but because of people who run the businesses and that applies also to the alternative medicine scenario. Patanjali products are not of the highest quality and you can check it anytime. Sugar is substituted for honey and what not is done to earn an extra buck.
The things you said about Doctor, engineers and scientists really needed to be said. Thanks man!

Dentistry involves doing procedure in patient's mouth,using rotary instruments which causes aerosol production,which increases the risk of transmission of this COVID virus multiple times so if your dentist gets infected(which is super easy because of proximity to his patient) you all will get infected and blame the dentist.
And one more thing so so many dentists have done COVID duties.
Plus some like me have almost succumbed in PPE kits to eliminate the pain of patient throughout the pandemic. 🙏

I really think homeopathy is very underrated.....because they are really good in solving chronic problems or disease.......they are like "nuclear engineers or aerospace engineers"(very limited jobs vacancy, jobs security, etc).....!
