It happens at every concert, I know that people are just having a good time, but it annoys me nonetheless when people can't help themselves from being like "OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU!!!!" At the top of their lungs whenever they know the artist will be able to hear them. Attention seeking imo
There is a cultural difference between the USA and Europe - and France where I live - in terms of concerts. In the United States, the public reacts enormously in the middle of the songs by shouting, applauding etc. At home, it's different and we let the song unfold, the reactions of the public usually intervening at the end of the song (even if, now, with the number of videos showing concert images to the scaling, a lot of French how to copy this). Personally, I clearly prefer when the group plays its song "normally", without too much public intervention and especially without continuously singing what is very disturbing when you are not used to it. For me, I feel like I'm attending a giant karaoke and I hate it. When I come to see a band in concert, and Sleep Token in particular with its so "intmist" atmosphere on some songs, hearing the audience sing and shout continuously totally spoils me an experience that must be unique. But it's certainly a question of "culture" or habit...
Fr. All the annoying screetching and fangirling is kinda annoying, but the other video I saw was so much worse with people just loudly talking over the fucking performance.
