I’m a long time Deftones fan and after many years of being in love with Chino’s vocals, I can honestly say I think I just might like Vessel’s voice more, because listening to him sing always makes me at least a little emotional. There’s so much power in his voice 😩😭

Thanks for the upload. I don't love their full albums but a number of songs including Hypnosis are amazing. The rnb meets metal is a pretty fresh take.
I've noticed the songs that didn't immediately adhere to me ended up becoming a part of the playlist (and my life) after I let it get to the bridge. By far the most meaningful lyrics and vocalizations I've ever heard in my life by far.

I dodged their song "Alkaline" in my recommended for about 2 weeks. Little did I know it was the universe talking to me and not just the typical UA-cam algorithm. One of the first bands that wear masks and it not be a gimmick. Vessel and the entire band are something different than anything else.
@@davidwaynemain if for you They are one of the first bands wearing masks because there are just few bands that do it. But they are a very young band so I personally don’t call them one of the firsts

Only thing that really bothers me is the way Vessel moves around. It's just so corny looking. Imo.
His body just trying to keep up with his vocal. And given the meaning of the band name I'm sure it's ritualistic. I'm a Christian and you should see how some of these cats in my home church move. Not really that crazy from that perspective 😂

Vessel has more control over his voice and is a more experienced clean vocalist. Will is good but there's no contest- Vessel does it better.
