This new deck is amazing, I climbed 12-1 from Legend to Kog with it. It's looking like a very solid top tier deck. *[edit]* I think this new deck is completely FREE-TO-PLAY (and still 100% competitive) there are versions that focus on OTK and do not need Sonic Bird. I'll post it below.
It's looking really nice tbh, but it's way more complex than most people think it is. It has great chances to do OTK as well, it's definitely a tiered deck, probably tier 1.5

I think you made a mistake when you were talking about Slayer’s search effect- you can’t search for a ritual spell just by sending a Slayer to the GY from the deck as a ritual tribute. Pretty sure the Slayer that goes to the GY has to have been ritual summoned first. Otherwise it would be busted as hell lol

Just started playing this game, this deck looked like resident evil so I spent all my gems on it, few days later I lose 90% of the time because ppl beat me before I draw either ritual spell.
Besides its great that you choosed this deck instead of luna or shira For me, an unique is much worth than super meta decks that pretty every noob use I would substitute my shira deck for this deck And I'm very regretful for choosing shiranui trash

Can someone explain to me why on earth does battlelord's effect of "discard one card and target a specific type of card, negate the activation" doesn't work?! I target monster cards and my opponent still uses his monster's effects and fucks me up
I'm not sure if you ever figured out the reason, but Battlelord's effect only lasts until the end of your turn, and can only be activated on your turn. Also, they can chain any monster effects that they have available to the activation of Battlelord's effect.

Fyi this deck doesn’t get destroyed by six sams like others seem to think it does. By using skill: master of rites 2 along with revendred slayer your whole board is immune to target effect due to both of there combined effects. You’ll no longer have to worry about enishi or duel wield and if you used revenant or hound or both he’ll also be able to remove backrow and ss monsters. Edit: if anyone is interested in my version of this deck Skill: master of rites 2 X2 vendread slayer X2 revendread slayer X3 vendread revenant X3 Vendread houndhorde X3 Vendread origins X3 vendread evolution X2 vendread nights X2 gozuki Consistency is really good and hardly ever brick. However when setting up yeah your at risk but if you go first you can create the lock relatively easily. I’ve been clapping decks all day with vendreads and currently the only time six sams gave me a problem is when they wlc me but even then I’ve managed to recover with a bit of effort. *note I don’t use the deck in this video as i found the bird to lack synergy. Sure it searches the spell but that’s usually it. Also the deck in this video doesn’t have enough revenant and hounds for my liking.

Xzis i think the biggest thing with this deck is proving everyone wrong, you see everywhere people shitting on this deck on reddit and in general. It’s satisfying to see this deck tear meta decks apart tbh. Yesterday for the first time I actually saw a subterror deck surrender while having 3 uma’s on the field bc this deck destroyed them. Despacito decks aren’t a threat either so no worries when you see a sartorious player heck even six sams too, yesterday i beat a six sam player who had turn one 2 shi en and two duel wield. Made a couple trimaid players rage quit. It’s just fun to see your investment and faith in an arch type pay off ya know 🤷🏻♂️

I mean, everytime a Ritual Deck is released and/or becomes meta, 99% of the times you're gonna need the Sonic Bird and/or Senju, so if you ever wanna play Rituals either now or in the future, you'll need them eventually
Add that lv 1 UR tunner from the new pack and use it with slayer to get Black Rose Dragon on field Clear the field and you get to summon another ritual monster with slayer and that tunner effect. Free 3000+ direct attack
Maybe it’s just me cuz a KOG player just got wrecked by my Silent Swordsman deck in duel carnival match. Couple of ways to counter this shit (cuz I ain’t paying more money atm), 1. You must prevent it from ritual summoning altogether. 2. Chaos Hunter on the field making their banishing power useless. 3. Use deck that benefits from getting banished like Metaphys. All in all, it’s all about the starting hand but for me the spell-lockdown is the best

Slayer has to had been ritual summoned when sent to the grave to trigger its effect. Using Gozuki won't work. But what you can do tho is using Gozuki (or skull) to send glow-up Bloom to the GY to search a lvl 5 or higher zombie monster.

And using Glow-up Bloom is basically the same as directly sending the ritual Monster to the GY but if you use Bloom you thin your deck a little bit more and gain hand advantage, allowing to discard the Monster you added for Houndhorde or Vendread Nights

Subterror was a TOP deck even in this last WCS a couple of days ago. Do you even play the game? Samurais will keep being competitive after Enishi gets limit it, any player knows it. Shi En can be summoned in turn 1, that's top tier.
Definitely a top tier F2P deck! I had 3500 gems, dumped all of them into 2 boxes. Got 2 Slayers, and pretty much enough copies of every other card needed. Only card I have yet to get is damn origin -.-
I don't think Vandread will be Tier 0 . It is more like a dark horse kind of deck like very difficult to beat , but can pack punch against other meta just not so powerful .
I'm glad to see no body knows my meta. My vendread deck is gaining my ranks👍 quite different from this meta and more fun. Synchron, destruction, and ritual summons.

It's not I've had duels where the card in my deck (TTH ) that would be a 3rd sonic bird was actually relevant. This is the most consistent way to play the deck.

I knew my new favourite archetype (Old ones: Scrap, Morphtronics and Vylons) were stronk as h*** in the right deck! You get a sub, bell being rang and like.
They really are lol, my buddy beat my blue eyes deck, my subterrors, and vamps ( vamps were my fault fucked up my monster effect links) they're weak to red eyes decks, armedes decks and ancient gears. Atleast in my experience

That effect is more for players who use hand traps like kuriboh or kiteroids

I'm glad to see no body knows my meta. My vendread deck is gaining my ranks👍 quite different from this meta and more fun. Synchron, destruction, and ritual summons.
I've beaten this deck 6/6 so far... either people aren't playing it right or it's over hyped

It's not I've had duels where the card in my deck (TTH ) that would be a 3rd sonic bird was actually relevant. This is the most consistent way to play the deck.

@@gstellar96 I first started playing Duel Links when Jesse and Fur Hires were new. I remember seeing a lot of Anki, but I think CA's had already been hit. Spellbooks and Naturia were also really great strategies.

They really are lol, my buddy beat my blue eyes deck, my subterrors, and vamps ( vamps were my fault fucked up my monster effect links) they're weak to red eyes decks, armedes decks and ancient gears. Atleast in my experience

I'm probably going to be unnoticed with all the fan boys and girls but they konami has done nothing but weed out longevity f2p players on a single account no deleting and restarting and farming for top tier decks, what is the point if you dont spend hundreds a month on this game to be top tier for a month? There should be a balance of f2p disrupting meta and whales who have a credit card to feel good to be on top 98% percent of the do population aint making it to a championship, so I need some legit thoughts from you the community and konami because DL will die coming from a casual player that does spend money cant keep up with the thousand doller spenders!!!!!!!
