I can't thank you enough for providing these videos that help me get through my time being grounded while mine is being rebuilt. It's agonizingly slow. It keeps me motivated.
This was an amazing video not only because the gorgeous views. It's truly awesome to watch a child's face light up around aircraft. As always thank you for sharing these great videos with us all David.
Nicely done David! You are seriously one of the best story tellers out there and I agree with other comments, you deserve more views. We should share, share, share! Next time you’re out this way swing by U14. Lunch is in me.
Thanks so much man!! Man you live in Utah. You lucky dog! I’m suppose to be back out in that area in October for dead cow. Maybe I’ll pop in and visit!
Very nice video David. Nice to see you had 4 up for a change. Thats usually how I fly with the family. Wasn't surprised about the speed either as thats about normal with 4 up and a bit of a head wind. Had a chuckle at the concentration on your face when you landed🤣. It does tend to drop on the runway when you're heavy. Thanks for sharing with us. Some beautiful scenery in this video.
@@davidschmaus1 it’s definitely a cool weather thing for me. I’m partial to the non aeromatic blends. I love a good strong English blend or a simple Burley. I love good old fashioned Half and Half. Every once in a while, though, I simply cannot resist 1Q or Capt Black
I bought the Bose for my wife but wanted to compare. They feel almost the same to me. Both comfortable and noise cancelling work great. I’d probably by the DC’s just to save some money.
@@davidschmaus1 thank you for the info. I have a coiple older dc's that i like. The new ones look nice. I just bought my first plane two weeks ago. Still waiting for the guys grass strip to dry up so i can bring it home. 59 pa22 160hp. Hoping to finish up my PPL in it. I've enjoyed watching your videos. Stay safe my friend
@@davidschmaus1 I have a friend that owned one with the 150 hp. I own a C150 with the 0-200 and a C172 but one day he and I just flew our planes airport hopping. I was in my 150. It was embarrassing, his Tri-Pacer with the 150 hp just left me lol He went to one airport and landed just to kill time waiting on me to catch up. 🤷🏼 I’ve always had a fondness for the Tri-Pacer tho I’ve never been in one. Someday… I enjoy your videos. Keep’em comin! Thx for sharing. Godspeed
You deserve many more views. Awesome camera work. Inspiring views! And nice plane!
Thanks so much Sam! Really appreciate it!
That's the kind of video I like seeing. It's giving children something great to look forward to and dreams at an early age.

You are welcome! It will be nice once done and you know it’s solid inside and out.
Someone posted this on FB today. So glad I watched it. Well done Sir!!! My backyard!
I'm now subscribed-
Thanks Lance. Really beautiful area you live in! Hope to get back and explore some more this fall.
Nice to see you back!
Thanks man! Good to be back!!
How do you not have 1000 subscribers yet? Your videos are amazing.
Haha. Thanks. I appreciate it. I can't figure out UA-cam. :)
@@davidschmaus1 none of us can. It’s a constant trial and error experiment. The algorithm will realize what it’s been missing out on eventually.
A couple of future pilots right there! They loved it!
Let’s hope so!!! Thanks!!
David great video, there is so much great flying out in the west. I am glad you are able to get out this way and enjoy it!
Thanks Scott. It really is incredible. I’m hoping to make it to Dead Cow in October!

@@davidschmaus1 I sure will thanks! Next weekend is the UA-cam ACCA fly in. It should be a really good time in Rock Falls Illinois.

Great job having the kid flying the plane.
Thanks Martin. They really enjoyed it!
Really enjoying your videos. I fly a 1958 Cessna 172 but I also love the Tri-Pacer, love the older planes.
Thanks James. Man I love them too. That 172 keeps creeping up in price too! Thanks for watching
@@davidschmaus1 Yes they do!
Excellent!!
Thanks mike!

Thank you! It’s only the second time I’ve had it loaded with 4. They do pretty well. DA was around 5000. But yes. Descends a little faster. :)
Wow! Just WOW! Beautiful scenery and photo/videography! What time of year was this?
Thank you! It was so nice and the perfect time to be in the Southwest. It was this past March. Thanks for watching!
Love it!! Nice job David.
Thanks Mike!!
Awesome. Giving rides is absolutely the best part of flying. Side note…pipe smoker? What blend were you enjoying there at the end?
Agreed. It's great sharing the experience for sure!! I believe that was Lane 1-Q. I usually save the pipe for Fall and winter!

@@truckpilotnate2972 I need to try those. I’m a fairly green pipe smoker.
Camp through Utah many times, never taken my Tri-Pacer there. Great photos... Are you going to Oshkosh?
Hi gene. I really would like to get back and do more camping there. Totally enjoyed it. I’m trying to get to OSHKOSH. It will be Monday.
Noticed you went from the DC ones to the A20 what do your think or recommend?

Nice! What hp do you have? I know some have 150 and others 160, I think… ? Great job
Thanks! 150HP. The 160 would be awesome!

Start them off with balsa models.
88 miles per hr is the speed required to go back in time.
Absolutely correct!
