@@greenfox3637mine blew too. I even installed the directional vents. Still not enough in a black car in TX. I eventually ran those gauges in a wiper cowl that had provisions for gauges molded in. The company's name escapes my memory.
It’s an addiction really, but I think I’m done with the power adding and will start doing more chassis stuff. Really want mini tubs for some bigger tires 🤷♂️
😬 6,700rpm....just a recommendation or two, that you may be aware of by now: Utilize the tall valve covers and run rocker stud girdles. 11/32" pushrods(at least) or 3/8", I believe help a lot when over 6k rpm life is achieved. Weld the guide plates if you keep the 5/16" pushrods. I've been here. A few areas I neglected cost me in the long run.
Have to edit this, I’m actually only spinning to 6400 with a hard limiter set at 6600. Just got a new set of afr heads and they recommend a .120 wall thickness 5/16 pushrod. And I did get 7/16 stud roller rockers. Not getting into stud girdles because I’m not trying to go to 7k rpm or more. But I will still be over spinning the blower 🫣
@@greenfox3637 the Super Pulley has a one way clutch. It free spins when theres a difference in speeds. I bought my 93 Cobra in '99, and I started upgrading on day 2. So many combinations, and so many failures to learn from. Good looking build though! How did u get the crank trigger to work with the blower pulley lining up? i am surprized u did not go after coil packs? yep lots of work good luck with it.
I used a 36-1 crank wheel and a smaller crank pulley spacer. The real hard part was making a bracket that would fit a crank trigger. I did manage to fabricate a bracket that fit just right, but the timing was way off. It needed 50 degree trigger angle and I had it setup right, just didn’t realize the balance timing marks were wrong. So I did have it running with the crank trigger and wasted spark coils but was backfiring in the intake. Also I will eventually upgrade to coil near plug when the budget permits
I have a 1990 lx coupe what hood do you have im running a 351 base 427 cid with a si trim super charger and a Holley hi rim int like yours is your hood a 2.5 inh or 3 inch thanks Beautiful car that you have. c
Thank you, hood is a cervini 4”. Supposedly a cervini 2.5” will fit the Holley hi ram if you have nothing lifting it higher on a 302 based engine. Might need the 4” with the 9.5 deck height block. Worse case you can use a k member spacer
As much as I LOVE gauges....I LOVE MY A/C MORE! In Texas, one summer was all it took and I pitched my Autometer two gauge vent setup.😊
A/C blows nice and cold. Vents are not plugged in the center so they do work. And I’m old school, love my gauges 🤗

$$$$ spending going on here! Hell yes! These setups run so much stronger intercooled. Awesome seeing this
Yeah I wanted to try something different and push the Ti trim to the limit
@@greenfox3637 was that multi port meth injection I say spraying in the ports?
Yes that’s 8 direct port nozzles and I’m switching to 100% M1 for the methanol system 😎
@@greenfox3637 I’ve heard of people doing that and they really like it don’t be surprised if you hit 900+ horse to the wheels
I’m hoping for 800 just to keep expectations low but would love to see that! 🤞🙏
😬 brings back nightmares when over spinning a Ti. I'm not sure if it was this blower or a NOVI, but I used an ATI Super Pulley.
The beast is really coming together! Can't wait to see videos of it turned loose!
I got carried away a little, but I can’t wait to drive it again! No matter what the results are, I won’t be disappointed 🤗
Very nice setup, and looks amazing also
Thank you 🙏
