I can't believe you made this video right when I needed. I've stopped wearing any kind of lipstick/lipgloss around 8 years ago because it started making me uncomfortable. I would try to wear some from time to time because I liked the idea of it, but always ended up wiping it off as soon as I looked at the mirror. Two weeks ago I tried one of my friend's lipgloss and kinda liked, so last Sunday I finally took the courage to buy one even if I was still dubious and scared I would waste money and It turns out I love it! It's not red but it's something and I feel so empowered that i put it everyday, even if I'm only going out at the bar for a coffee in the morining. I've been considering wether to take it out with me or if it was somehow too much, but now I know what I want to do. So Thank you, you're an inspiration like always
Hey! I've been doing this without realising it for years!! Hair, tattoos, piercings, clothes, jewelry, nails... AND make-up! And also feeling empowered when I'm just too lazy to do any work on it lol. Yay learned something new about my spirituality again thanks to you! ❣️🌹
this is interesting! I naturally started doing this a year or so ago and didn't realize it was part of my magick practice! It just happened. thank you!
Like many of the other commenters, I've been doing this type of thing (especially with makeup) without even thinking of it in this way, and it's really opened my eyes! It also explains why I struggle so much with clothing, because I don't have a way to express the things that I want to express because I'm plus size (and not American) so I don't have access to much clothing that makes me feel empowered. I'm hoping to find the time and money to learn how to make my own clothes so I can sit in that empowerment on a consistent basis.
I loved this video so much. Makeup, jewellery and clothing is such an important part of setting my intention for the day and I'd never thought about it as part of my spiritual practice. Thank you for this. It resonated with me so much 🖤
Question...they say if you are going to do a bold eye color, go with a muted lip, and conversely, if you are going to do a bold lip, go neutral with the eyes. Here's my question, if you are going with bright clothes, should you still do bright makeup, or should you do neutral makeup?
I think you look better with black hair, i feel it suits your skin and eyes better, and it just complements better your personality (at least what i get to experience through videos)
growing up in Ma, in the eighties....I remember loving Laurie Cabot when I was a teen going to parochial school, haha, I saw her in her robes in public and her witchy eye makeup etc...and loved her...this was before I realized I, too, was a witch....she was one of the first before it was 'cool'..and when goth and punk looking people were harassed and bullied/mocked...I dressed goth and was blacklisted at my university despite being A list, etc etc...I loved playing with colour and being creative, but it was mocked, and worse, psuedo-psychoanalyzed 'you do that for attention' haha....things have come a long way
Love this so much, Raecine! Tfs your tips etc... especially for peeps other than & including myself who've perhaps lost or misplaced our inner Venus! btw I prefer you with black hair but also love the red⚘️
Loved these vids on Glamour Magick. Do have any recommendations or resources a that may be helpful for men/masculine presenting as they explore glamour Magick?
Wow, you said some things here that really made me think. Like why I feel so uncomfortable in red lipstick or dark nails - they look fab, but I always think it isn’t ‘me’. Maybe it is just a side of me that I’ve been hiding or shying away from. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! 🖤 💄
That was wonderful, thank you so much! Some of the things you said reminded me of Lisa Eldridge's Face Paint - a wonderful and empowering book about the history of makeup. Alas, I struggle with lipstick. My weapon of choice - so to speak - is scent.
This video is a Godsend. I’ve been working through shame brought on by my childhood trauma. This is all much needed study material for me. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh how I love this video so much! And the fact that you clarified we have to do this mainly for ourselves touched my heart because I couldn’t quite figure out why while trying to engage in this magick I felt drained… now I know it’s because I was focusing on the reaction of others instead of mine So helpful and impactful!! Can’t wait for the next video in the series!!! 💕
Omg the colors DO make a difference. I've been starting to embrace different shades of red and it has changed some things about how I carry myself. To me it's linked to my deity too, so really special.
I just got those red worlds beyond earrings from KillStar so what an appropriate time for this video! I love the journal prompts you've included. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with your mentor with us as well 🖤
Your patroness, Isis, goddess Lilith and Kali are all proud of the beautiful woman you are inside & out, and what a wonderful mother you are. I love seeing strong women kick society’s ass. I have a question, I am a single mom myself and got out of a very bad, toxic four year relationship and over the last 10 months I’ve been working on myself and becoming the woman I was before I allowed him to hold it captive (he was one of those “it’s always the woman’s fault and who always did him wrong, which was BS.) My question is, how do you find men’s approach, response and just overall dynamics with you being a strong woman? Men expect a certain power dynamic and the book men are from Mars women are from Venus sickens me and sets even more of an unfair precedent that us women need to cater to man. I wouldn’t even use that book as kindling. My question is not one about feeling validated or the need to base ourselves on how a man thinks/feels but rather just how you observed men’s responses to dating you (who’s again a strong very powerful woman?) As always you look stunning, have a great rest of your Friday and I hope you and your family have a great weekend. 🖤✨
What advice do you have to someone who wants to feel beautiful and sexy and feminine and explore with glamor magick but for the last 5years since their child was born has gained weight and just can't get past who they have become and what they look like. Someone who has no self confidence. Sorry I know this is heavy but sadly it's reality. Love you and your videos.
Hi, I’m a random stranger but I had a different yet slightly similar struggle with pandemic weight gain and disability. I spent nearly two years not wearing any makeup and not sure how to go forward in my dressing. What Owlmoon says is true, some of it is regaining the confidence to take up space. Remember, all women are beautiful and you are beautiful and you deserve self care and self love, and FUN ❤
Yesssssssssssss! THE person for glamour magick. Thank you.
I LOVE whenever you talk about beauty, let alone glamour magick ( best of both worlds)❤❤❤
Scorpio new moon in a couple of days makes it even more potent. Scorpio being the energy of alchemy and transformation ✨💄🌹

This was truly a beautiful video… (as are all of yours, OF COURSE)! But truly… thanks so much for being ‘you’ and sharing such great content 🤗🥰♥️

Do whatever feels right for you. F*ck rules, follow what resonates with you.
I saw “How to” and thought this was going to be a makeup tutorial 😂😂 I clicked so fast. this video was still very helpful
