The less than crisp elevator response reminds me of the Re2000 and Re2001. When you were behind a bomber, and porpoising up and down while trying to keep a steady bead, is very evocative of what I go through with the aforementioned Italian birds. You nudge the stick, it takes a moment for the pitch change to be induced, and once you're aligned and neutralizing the stick the pitch moment takes a bit to ease off, and you end up overshooting. So you reverse the stick input and end up overshooting again. These kind of responses require the player to try to think ahead in terms of stick action. Cheers! Glenn (aka WxTech)
I love the fact that you bring always original videos about all theatres of the wars, I can’t wait to get this game. I wouldn’t have liked to be a British pilot in East Africa fighting the Italian fighters with that crappy piece of metal lol
I’ve always loved the Hawker Fury series of biplanes! 🇬🇧 I hope Airfix or another company releases a new tool 1/48 or even 1/32 scale plastic kit of the single and twin seat version.
When I was a kid there was a 1/72 Hawker Fury kit by Matchbox that I always wanted to get, but for some reason it just never happened. I remember once I had it in my hands but put it back for a Gloster Gladiator kit instead. Was probably a good thing I did because I loved that Gladiator I did a great job on it. But I still wished I found a couple of bucks to buy that Fury, I think there were Yugoslav Airforce markings and thats what drew me to it in the first place it was a plane used far and wide and by a whole bunch of nations.

At lest it wasn't a Vickers Vildebeest which were used in the East African Campaign lol
@@RJLbwb you're right, british fighters in East africa were no match for the italians CR. 32 and 42s

Ces fury! Était d'élégants chasseurs mais en observant les avions italiens sont des FIAT CR-42 il me semble? Merci pour le partage passionnant.
Some parts of the interior of the cabin of this plane resemble to the cabin of a Spitfire.
Hawker Furry
