Thanks for watching! I spent $800 for that slightly used Sig P220 that we did the shooting review on a couple weeks ago. Apples to oranges, but both very cool handguns. 😊😎🇺🇸👍 Beretta SR.
They are pretty freaking cool, and having a Stainless in the same video as the blk/blued color was supper cool to me. I am not sure if other gun channels had done that or not. (We like to be a little different if possible.) Also the triggers being different, gives you something to consider and think about before you buy your own. What kind of trigger are you looking for. 😊😎🇺🇸👍. Beretta SR.
I just saw one of the stainless steel versions at a LGS, it was 850 +... Beautiful piece. I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison with one of the Sig P238 or P938 pistols.. 😎 Good video!
I think YB feels the same way. The black would be very hard to see in dark or near dark conditions. It also takes a trained eye to spot it in the daytime because of its small size. 90% of Bad Guys will not see it coming if you hold it down until you are ready to shoot it for protection. Just my take on it after CCW for 30 years. All our Best to you. 😊😎👍🇺🇸. Beretta SR.
He has been busy lately with friends, but we both have over 20 shooting videos to produce in May & June of 2024! Should be a fun summer! 😊😎🇺🇸👍. Beretta SR.
I shoot with my right or left and recently bought a second stainless. I think they're just the sexiest 380 in the world. I'll definitely look at sanding the grips before I do the two fisted Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba! Ba!
Ah! The Tuxedo gun as I just to call, it's a classic alright but can be finiky depending on yearmade and or cartridge manufacturer at least it was that way back in the early 80's, and a very much close range, I would agree with you on the 38+P much that but not 5 Chambers personally how ever for a Lady or older individual well train That would be a better choice for personal defense. But like colors we all have different taste and preferences. Imho.!! Blessings 🙏 to the whole family. Always in the hope of not having to use one but if need arise better to have than none at all. Take care guys❗ 🛡️🇺🇸🛡️😎👍
I sold mine a while back, but definitely want to get another. That said, totally agree about the beaver tail bite. My first range day with it, I shot 100 or so rounds. I went home with a pair of “snake bites” on my hand.
Nice review, gents! You just can't get any classier or iconic than these 2 pistols. Sure, a modern Ruger, or a Glock 42 may offer a little more for the user, but you just can't beat the good looks of these 2 old school autos! 👍👍
I am going to try to like them at the Range in May or June 2024, but the last time I really preferred my S&W Shield Plus and my 2 Springfield Hellcats in comparison. Not the same history or nostalgia, so we will see. I do love the looks of them, and the single action trigger pulls are fantastic! 😊😎👍🇺🇸. Beretta SR.
Where did you find the beautiful wood grips? All the models I see on the website are fitted with plastic grips, except for one of the stainless models.
This is true, but YB does not care about resale, it’s all about his experience with the pistol, and how it feels in his hands. Great points to bring up for all the viewers however, and thank-you Rick. 😊😎👍🇺🇸 Beretta SR.
Northern Ireland you still can! (Or Scotland too I think but you have to attach giant stick to back of it in Scotland and it’s silly) I’d get a Glock 19 if I could only have one though. Cheers to cousins in the UK I hate politicians ruining things to excessive levels they don’t understand
I don’t recommend this gun. The gun is pure shit. It’s small but heavy like two glocks. Outdated sights, it punched my arm worse than 2 inch 357 magnum revolver. Every 20 rounds I got failure to feed or to extract. 7 rounds of 380 was unacceptable firepower and capacity 50-60 years ago already. Guys, James Bond never existed and his equipment and guns has nothing to do with real life. German army and police handguns at the time of PPK were Luger p08 and Walther p38. The cartridge for this gun was always 32 ACP not 380. Do not be an idiot and do not waste your money. Luger and p38 are collectable, this piece of junk is just a piece of junk.
Sad that’s why I think the sig238 is better. This is a aesthetic movie gun for fashion ig I still want one with that understanding it just has special place in my heart. I also want a walther p38 and Luger.
@ if you want to purchase it for a display it’s probably ok. It can stand on its handle and shine. If you want a PPK like straight blowback gun for carry and range I would recommend CZ83. It’s almost perfect for EDC and target practice, and it’s inexpensive. The only problem is: it has been discontinued and you have to be careful picking the good piece for yourself. I own one and it’s a great 380 pistol.
I had a laugh when you shook the hell out of that Ruger like a maraca.. I'm still laughing. Thanks.
Thanks for watching! We both appreciate you sending in the cool comment. You made me laugh out loud! Beretta SR.
I'm not a Bond 007 fan, but I have always wanted one of these.
@5:54, "or both". I died
He was kinda funny in this one. 😊😎👍🇺🇸. Beretta SR.
800 isnt bad in todays inflation prices. beautiful lines on those guns.

A few months ago I saw them new on some sites for like $719.00.
Seems like they jumped up again though.
450 when I got mine
Thanks for the great reviews guy's, can't wait to add one to my collection.

Great guns I love my PPK. Got
To go with black one for the bond look. I carry mine often

Hi my friend! Brazil 🇧🇷 & the USA 🇺🇸 #1. Beretta SR.
Didn't the overlords allowed 9mm to civilians recently in Brazil?
I need a couple mags. Will start my search for two magazines for the Kurz. Awesome video.
“If you’re looking to buy a pistol for your wife, or your girlfriend, or both…” You guys are funny! Love the content, keep it up!

We agree completely with you my friend! God Bless & please be safe.

Beretta 84 x 380 pistol is better gun then ppk the ppk the av lar problem beretta Beretta 84 better gun
Depends on the philosophy of use
Awesome video! Do you happen to have a sandpaper recommendation? Thanks!
I learned to shoot mine 40 years ago as a first gun. Not a big deal. I carry it open all the time in tenn.
My ppks is now my edc. At the range I wear a shooting glove. Trust me you'll be happy you did.😊
Where did you find the beautiful wood grips? All the models I see on the website are fitted with plastic grips, except for one of the stainless models.
The grips are made by Altamont, they have a good selection of grips for the PPK/S.
Can the 380acp barrel be threaded for suppressor use ike the PPK 22LR with the thread-adapter ?? TIA
They just made a factory threaded one
@@kommando5562 may you share the UPC # for the factory threaded barrel? TIA
Wear a glove to avoid slide bite; not a fan of messing/sanding the original finish. It will degrade the resale value.

Then I ruined mine i engraved 007 in mine but don't care.
What grips
Never owned one of these but I had a Sig p232 that was junk, sent it back twice then the rear sight fell off at the range.
What's a spaghetti western mag?
