DCALABRESE Goodbye 1991

09.1991. not sure who or to what i was saying goodbye. i think it was to the world in the sense that i had just joined the Yasgurs Farm cover band which was ultra popular here along the Jersey coast with my best friend Ed Follenvaider, the drummer with the fastest foot in the east, and the loudest technique. we used to call him Led Vaider because of this. what a pal, miss him terribly sometimes. i thought at the time we had 'made it', and so was a little pensive perhaps when working out this song, so i'm pretty sure that was the 'goodbye'. it didn't work out. lasted about a year, and then the leader broke it up. a simple ballad in 'F' with the B section down a fifth.
