13:00 Shout out to Jesse! I found his channel through you when your old unit rolled down the hill and flipped. I'm really glad i did too. You and him both have absolutely awesome channels!
I have a crazy idea for a video… equipment tour but where you talk about what you do/don’t like about each machine and if you would buy that again or if you would rather have a different model/manufacturer. I really value your opinion and I know if I’m interested I would bet a lot of other guys are too. Thank you for making all of your videos!!!

You know you are a real OG of this channel when you seen the black craftsman impact driver over the years. I personally noticed the aftermarket batteries and everything you’ve done to keep it running. It must be pretty symbolic to you.
I'm in the same boat, my old crapsman drill has been working for 15 years. I've got some grey noname battery I got off amazon now. The thing won't just die
The drill is impressive, but the tailgate on the dodge that still opens and closes is just amazing! I'm always looking for it in the video to if it's still there. Lol

I love watching you use those old Craftsman C3 Tools! I have and use daily the whole set of C3 tools. I have had very few failures over time but have seen Dewalt brand tools die all the time. I dred the day when I can't get batteries anymore!
I love and watch every video that Andrew produces. No "concrete expert" here at all; but I work for guys that do a lot of concrete. Two "humble" suggestions to make life easier for a formed slab like this: (1) Right before the pour, spray all insides of the wooden formwork with WD-40. It makes removing the forms much better. Less pull-off of rocks and less "rubbing it out" (IYKYK lol). And, if you do that and your forms are properly constructed, (2) Take a battery sawzall, remove the blade, and vibrate the guard along the outside edges of the forms, lightly (!). Just run it along the forms up and down w/o too much pressure before you bull float and you will see the cream come to the top on the sides. And the vibrations along the entire frame of the form move inward and settle everything. Then tamp it and finish it. Cheers and keep it up!
When my house was built the concreter painted the forms with black oil. I believe this was actually used motor oil. He probably gets it from some mechanic he knows. Way cheaper than WD-40.
That was a boatload of cement to pour by yourself. I thought you would have a significant mess when I heard the wood snap. Good thing Dan and Mrs. W were there to have you a hand.
You're lucky to have your dad with to do these odd fun things together, especially with the old switcheroo while you/him was spray painting. We had a glimpse of the future Andrew in 50 years! That's for the entertainment Andrew.
We used to have an expression when footings were being poured "..... concrete makes good filling..." - you seem to have a firm belief in that statement.👍👍👍
Never ceases to amaze me how … what’s the right word, gratifying, it is to watch good work done and watching the development! Living vicariously through your labor Andrew lol.
Like the rebar caps. I think the more concrete forms you build , the more you will build them a little stronger then your first guess, it is a hassel dealing w/blow outs. Reminds me of my carpenter days. I was lucky to work w/a lot carpenters that were able to hold their job in tough times. Good watch
As a civil engineer the only thing I'd say is be a little careful how much you vibrate the concrete. Vibrating it too much can cause the aggregate to sink to the bottom. Not that it matters with how overbuilt this appears to be. Nice work Andrew!
I am no engineer, but definitely overuse of the vibrator, not to mention the watery concrete from the first load - far too wet. The excessive vibration is what caused the formwork to collapse - it might have held otherwise.
Andrew have been waiting this addition for a while, and have to tell you I Love the communication system you have to where you can talk to another person working with you and work together. Doing this make things so much more simple. The updaing and bit of repair you did with the Kabota was needed.
