Well, he spent a lot of time out videoing L.A. (especially Venice Beach homeless problem) and travelling back and forth to Germany, neglecting his business, which I suspect wasn't very profitable anyway. So, now that UA-cam revenue is declining, I'm supposed to feel sorry for him? Don't get me wrong... I like Mike! I just believe he needs to rearrange his priorities and tactics...

I've just recently realized I'm going to be "no contact" with my older sister who I used to be very close with decades ago. But I've had to realize we've "grown apart" as they say. A loss still hurts.

Your anxiety, emptiness etc will get worse if you dont get on a regular sleep cycle, this is one thing i know for sure. sleep at night 8 hours and try to eat clean always. You are a really nice guy!!! You will be fine and even more sucessful!

Not the same as having your own store being the boss. That's like being an employee or a sub renting space from the tenant. I guess that could be done as an economical way to get a product out, but unlikely to happen for the business operator wouldn't want the competition taking money out of the situation resulting in decreased profits for h im.

You could make a video about shopping in Walmart and thousands would watch. Don't feel to much pressure to find content. Just be you and people will watch your videos.

Sad to hear about the monetization. I find your videos interesting, and I must say that I like that they are not overproduced, meaning that the content and your dialogue is the focus. Your channel is very unique and if you plan to "upgrade" to a real studio or "better" production, take care to not go overboard in order to become like everyone else, where the uniqueness fades away and gets replaced with picture perfect photo and editing and loses everything that makes this channel what it is.

Mike, it is not the slacklining itself that is the problem. Most likely you got demonetized because what those people are doing is committing a crime. They are trespassing. In America, no one in a public space has the "right" to expect privacy. You have the legal right in this country to film people in public, regardless of what they say. It's true. It's literally the law.
@timothyexner the space itself is legally public. A private event in a public space, like a wedding, could temporarily cause the space to be regarded as "private", but a good lawyer could make enough of a grey area in the case of something as large as Comic Con.
@timothyexner So you think that someone at a sporting event in a private sports arena has to ask the players if they can take photos of them ? No difference for any of the events held for tool shows, electronics shows, car shows , etc - you know people are going to be there taking photos and videos of everything they want to there. The girls GIV said he took photo of even had a mask on so they weren't identified.

I live in Henderson NV just outside of Vegas. I wouldn't recommend it. Median price of a home in the Vegas Valley is $440,000 and there's still a federal emergency drought restrictions, inflation is crazy. Market price of a 1 bedroom apt. Is $1800+. Cost of living going up like crazy and so is violent crime. Murders almost daily. Lots of places in this country but I can't wait to get out of here. Hey, I grew up in Malibu, Marina del Rey and Venice! Love ya GIV. You'll find a new groove, change is hard and it takes some time. You've got a great big base of friends here. You're not alone. Wow the Comic-Con girls experience is crazy…. My son and I hit up a lot of them, and normally everyone is cool about being photographed and/or recorded. I trained as a camera operator/editor at college then started my own business back in 1998. Then comes along UA-cam and all of a sudden everyone is a camera operator and editor. Work slowly dwindled away as more and more people were filming and editing their own weddings and corporate events. UA-cam single-handedly killed my industry but it’s the way she goes lol. I love watching youtube, there are so many talented creators with tech like Ai, drones and special effects that we could only dream of back in the 90’s. Anyway on another note I wish you would still do your art and sell it on line, I love it, I would have liked one of your Einstein with guns, very cool. I guess I like a rant too 😂, keep on moving forward GIV 👍.

GIV. I followed my local basketball team all year long and recorded all their games. I found a new hobby, made no money, in fact im sure i lost money between travel and fees getting into the games. BUT I LOVED IT, AND THE TEAM MADE HISTORY.... Getting paid would've been nice, sure... but the memories i caught and the season they had are priceless.
As you are being frank German I quit my job 2019 and could cope till recently. Now, I so often cope with the feeling of having no purpose, I sometimes think about ending it. Don’t think I’ll ever have the courage, and it makes it scarier. I just cope. Send you lots of love, and hope you best.

I understand how you feel. You have a couple of options. One is to save the more "mature" content for a Patreon exclusive? I know that I, along with a few others, would subscribe to get consistent videos or bonus content. You could also create a thematic schedule: Monday for GIV chill time, Tuesday for downtown LA, Wednesday for Venice with German, Saturday Street Interviews with GIV etc. I’m not entirely sure, but there are ways to avoid those yellow dollar signs on your videos. Diversifying your content might help; if one piece doesn’t get ads, you can rely on other types. Just some thoughts. Keep up the good work!

On the positive side. Look at your video that got demonitised as good advertising to bring more people in to your channel. You did a great job and you are extremely charismatic and that's why people lobe you. My subscriptions are usually unrelated to the kind of videos that you make, but you are so charismatic and great at this that I end up watching your shows all the time. Maybe in the future you could do like a German across the U.S.A. keep the great job my brother and I'll keep watching 😊👍🏻
