@@Asakebabyface in the first year it is mandatory to stay in the school dorm to study the Korean language, which they deduct the monthly rent from you monthly allowance. Second year when you start your graduate studies you can choose to stay in dorm or look for a studio apartment.

If the applicant doesn't get or get the scholarship will the Embassy return the original copy of the documents?

One of my options is Konkuk University, and they ask for a Portafolio. It is the only one that asks for a portafolio among the 3. So, i dont know if I should include the portafolio in the envelope for that University only…..I have no clue
You have to send it to them personally through email . You can ask them about it.

You attach your published papers at the section of awards and other certificates. If you can get your degree certificate by July I think you can apply. But you have to get a document certifying that your degrees is expected by July

It’s not compulsory to have a passport at the application time however it’s ideal to have it when applying. And it’s not yet time for the application period

Pls I have a question, in my nin I used my father first name (uchechukwu)as my surname and in my parents nin they used their surname(igwiro) but my dad and mom use the name I put as surname in my nin (uchechukwu)as their first names ,do I need to change the name on my nin ,and my father first name is what I used as surname both in my secondary school and birth certificate
Unfortunately I don’t have an in-depth knowledge about what you’re asking. If their names on your birth certificate is the same on their identification card, then it’s not a problem . It doesn’t matter if your surname is different from your parent’s surname.

Hello 👋 please with the undergraduate forms, there is a form that written boldly at the top recommendation letter but it a form where the applicant has to fill and recommender has to also fill. Please what do you do with that from will it be inside the envelope or you are not suppose to include it

Hello, please for university track you have to submit one set of documents as indicated in the guidelines. Please go back to guidelines and check the documents to submit. (Application checklist: scholarship documents plus consular confirmed or apostilled copies of graduation certificates, transcripts, child and parent relationship documents and proof of citizenship) please read the guidelines well and patiently watch my videos and you’ll get your answers clearly

Hello , your transcript should be in a Gpa format so you have convert it and get it apostilled or consular confirmed by the Korean embassy in your country. Kindly read the guidelines I’m sure you’ll know which documents to apostille, as far as I know, you have to apostille degree certificate, transcript and your birth certificate. But please read the guidelines to find answers. Also I don’t know what NIN is so I can’t answer that unfortunately

You can only choose three schools when applying through the embassy. So when you’re filling the forms and you select embassy track you just have out in the names of the universities chronologically, choice 1, choice 2, choice 3 and you have generalize the personal statement and study plan . After you print that whole application document and make three copies of them . So plus the original document makes four documents which you have parcel them all and post to the Korean embassy in your country. If you’re applying through the university track, you can only select one school. So you just have to fill and post one set of application documents

I am going to have my last semester exam in April so i will get my degree certifacte later so what do i submit in place of my bachelors degree transcript? If the past semester result then di i get that appostiles . Also if we get selected then do we submit the bachelors degress certificate later to teh university? And do we give original bachelors degree to them?
You can submit a provisional transcript and certificate which are consular confirmed or apostilled. If you get selected you have to submit consular confirmed or apostilled copies of your degree certificate or transcript. Don’t submit original documents because you won’t get it back. Please read the guidelines and watch my video on documents to prepare

Hi, thank you for the video, I just have question about the portfolio.
I'm trying to understand how to attach it, I'm applying through the embassy track. In the application guideline page 18 it says that ''If a university requires additional documents (e.g., portfolio), applicants must submit those materials directly to the university''. As I understood if I, by any chance, get accepted for the second round, then I have to send the portfolio separately, right? I cannot attach it right away with all of the forms.
Also when I go to the Hanyang university's given pdf file it says under submission method - Embassy Track: Post additional portfolio or materials directly to the university.
So the question is - will they not accept my portfolio if I attach it with the files that I give to the embassy?
Also, if a university doesn't mention anywhere that I have to submit portfolio, is it ok if I still add it?
Hi, the best thing you can do now is contact the universities you’re applying to through the embassy and ask them how you should submit the portfolio. I’m sure you can solve the problem that way

For the recommendation letter please. I read a part in the form that says . The recommendation form should be in the same envelope as the letter.. so do we leave the place where the instructions are blank? And then fill the necessary parts and put in the envelope?. Thank you
You have to fill your part of the form before you give it to your recommender. So your teacher or lecturer will write the recommendation letter. Fill his part of the form and put them all in an envelope, seal and sign across the flap.

You just need photocopies of your parents identification card that’s all.

For the birth certificate, I would like to know if an affidavit of age declaration from the High court in my country will suffice? It has evidence that my one of my parents is Nigerian.
Then for the other parent that's deceased, how do I manage that? Please do I email the Korean embassy for this?
You have to provide an authenticated copy of the death certificate for the deceased parent. For your birth certificate you have to do consular confirmation on it

Hello, should I add my parents proof of citizenship seperately,in gks 2024 guidelines they didn't asked seperately
Applicant/parents proof of citizenship and family relation document- so your citizenship document can be your birth certificate which indicates your parents names so you can use that as your proof of citizenship and family relation document, just add copies of your parents national identification cards or passport copies as their proof of citizenship

Hello, choosing a university is your choice. You have to go through the university file and check the universities that offer the major you want to study. If you like their criteria you can choose to send your application documents there. The deadlines for each university is in the university file

I think I already responded to this question earlier under another video. You must get your transcript from the school you attended for three years and graduated from. The waec exam is just something you write in your final year to complete school.

It has to be hand signed on the letters and across the envelope flaps after the recommender seals the letter, so please find someone In your country to do it for you

Please that depends on the university you’re applying to for the scholarship , you can email them and ask them how they want you to present the portfolio

f you’re applying for the scholarship through the embassy track, send it to the Korean embassy in your country and if you’re applying through the university track, check from the university file, look for the university you’re applying to and you’ll find their address there

You don’t have to send three sets of documents to the university for this scholarship, however if you have to, then put arrange each set of documents like the way I taught, and put each set in 3 different envelopes, label them. Original documents and the other sets as copies. Then put all three envelopes into one big envelope. That’s it

If you’re gonna apply for undergraduate please let your high school teacher or headmaster write the recommendation for you. Because they have more insight into your educational growth in school

Hello, please if you apply through university track you can only choose one university and a program at that university. The three universities option is for only embassy track applicants .

It doesn’t matter, my surname is different from my Father’s. All that matters is that your father and mothers names are on your birth cert as your parents

You can just add it as acceptance letter. Let it be the last document in the arrangement. Just label it at the top. Acceptance letter. It’s from a professor in Korea right?

Please you can add the affidavit to the degree certificate and transcript and label it the as an affidavit for name on degree/transcript. But please email the Korean embassy in your country for a more accurate answer yeah.

You can’t also email the university you’ll be posting your documents to and ask them what you should do with the affidavit. I think they can also point you in the right direction

Hello dear. I can’t tell you which major is best for you. All of that depends on you. Everything has to be your choice because it all down to your luck. So just write your essays well to convince them to select you

@@pratibhasingh2340 when you get accepted and you come to Korea it’s a must that you take the exam at least three or four times . And you must get at least Topik level 3.
