      I wish I could but I work out 3 times a week (and I love getting sweaty because it works best to relieve stress imo) and my hair gets greasy pretty fast anyways.. And somehow i cant stand having greasy hair.. It makes me feel dirty all over? Like the weird feeling on my scalp.. I cant stand it loool
      But i really wish i could just wash it once a week.. It's such a pain in the butt to wash it 3times a week... Especially since my hair is quite long and takes hours to dry..

    • @misssunnydee
      @misssunnydee 3 роки тому +2

      I already did that, because I have super dry skin and scalp, but you definitely won't regret having done that. It's so much better for your hair and skin to shower as little as possible (unless you use a gazillion products or have actual nasty stuff on your body). Washing deregulates our own 'skin grease', to put it simply. My dermatologist has been trying to get me to a no-poo stage, but I like the smell of shampoo on my hair and sometimes use hairspray and sth to smooth stray hair and then just water isn't going to be of much help. But ever since I used sulfate free (doesn't foam, which is weird initially) and only when needed the quality of my hair has drastically improved. And I dye my hair regularly and have alopecia! I also don't use deodorant anymore, only when it's really hot (and then I use a salt-spray based one). It started out as a necessity because of constant allergic reactions - and trust me, that's very painful in your armpits - and then I realised I actually started to sweat less! And another strange thing: men actually said more often I smelled nice... while I hadn't used shampoo, nor any deodorant 😳. I do have to add that my clothing is either 100% cotton or has a very high percentage (in the 90s) of cotton or velvet f.e. I think that definitely helps. I dress retro 50s, and while more expensive (Vinted is my go to nowadays. I don't mind 2nd hand, seeing as I also wear things that are 90 years old and have been on someone else's head or hands 😄), these brands do often stay away from materials that make you sweat, and worse: stinky sweat.
      Maybe this can be your next project? 🤔😅

      @@thang92 I am not a doctor so I will not claim that it will. Personally, I'm much like Soph in that I only wash my hair about once a week, so any new product I use takes a month or so to see results. I do recommend it as I don't find my scalp as flaky as it once was. It's a clarifying shampoo and just removes all oil, product and whatever else from my hair. It honestly smells so wonderful too - like a eucalyptus bath - I would probably use it regardless.
      I use the OGX Miracle Cocounut line to bring back moisture - Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask - and I've also used the Marc Anthony Argan Oil and Coconut and Shea treatments to shiny, smooth, and soft results.

      Drama for dryer skins though, and by that I mean *super* dry (not to the point of flaking dry). I can't do anything with "thermal water"; just that alone dries out my skin terribly. Even their creams for dry skin tug & pull at my face. I can barely cleanse with just plain water (no make-up for me!) and I quickly need to layer up my serums and seal with Nivea's blue tin (yes petrolatum); it is *the best* and I have tried a lot in my 48 years of life (had dry facial skin my entire life).

I only keep what I need and will only repurchase items that are almost out and only if I liked the product. This has helped me so much as I used to be quite a skincare/body care hoarder. Videos like this I really enjoy as it gives more insight into the product and how some individuals opinions can differ x

    Years ago I suffered with skin issues,, plus I have autoimmune issues that are more chronic. The best thing for mine was using an ointment instead of creams.... like Aquaphor. I also had to be careful with shampoo and conditioners I used in the shower, as the fragrance and other ingredients would cause my skin to flare. I started washing my hair with a hand held sprayer to protect the skin on my face! When I stopped eating dairy , gluten and soy my symptoms improved dramatically! Along with changing my diet, I saw an allergy specialist and found out several foods I was very allergic to!

But ive been using this stuff for over a year and i don't get painful cysts, my oil is under control and my skin just looks so much healthier! I have flare ups from eczema on my face as well and the product that helps me the most (even better than the hormone creme the gp gave me, especially when you use it on your face. It’s horrible) is gladskin eczema gel. It also comes as cream, but for oily skin the gel is great. The eczema is less red, not itching anymore and it soothes down. This is not an add, but just a tip that helped me a lot. Feel much more confident with my skin. The smallest size is 15 ml and not that expensive. So I gave it a try and love it
