I have to agree 100% son son. I'm glad I checked out the highlights. Ofcourse I was rooting for Coach Primtimes team but yikes Shaq Davis and the South Carolina state defense put it on them boys 🤣🤣🤣.
I said the same thing when I watched the game. The energy of it was so good to be a blowout, you don't always get those at any level. This was great for HBCUs, great season too. This coming season should be just as good if not better.

I graduated from Bethune Cookman I was the equipment manager for the football team for 5 years (I was suppose to play long story with that). But I always had respect for SCSU they have always been good and won the MEAC many times. That was our most challenging game every year when we played SCSU. Congrats to them. The SWAC in my opinion could never hang with the MEAC yes we Bethune Cookman had a bad season (alot of it come from administration) but we will bounce back next year. I remember we played SCSU in 2010 we were undefeated and I think they were as well that was a good game we ended up winning 14-0 went on to win the Meac and HBCU national championship and went to the FCS playoffs. I enjoyed playing against them because it was going to be some real football being played. I also like the band song they would play HEY LET'S GO!!!!!! HEY HEY HEY LET'S GO !!!!! I use to be on the side line jammin. Good old college days. S/O to JSU on a good season no hate Coach Prime is my wife's cousin. Respect to coach Buddy he deserves it.
Also before the actual game started we (equipment managers) got called out by SCSU equipment managers to play a quick game and we beat them 14-0 same score the actual game ended up being

The QB for SC State is a great passer, as good as any in the country. He made several perfect difficult throws, and he can throw accurately to any spot on the field. Bravo!

Coaching experience and trench play was the difference in this game. SCSU dominated both. Great game thonfor HBCU football and the culture. Hopefully what we are seeing with all this continue to make HBCU the place to be. Respect to SCSU coach for the win. Respect to Deon for his effect not only for football, but for the social, financial, and economic gains that have been created since he came in. 💪🏾

Well said and thats what alot of ppl failing to see that this game was more than just a game of who's better BOTH TEAMS WON if u really understand what's happening going forward the point is for both schools to get to D1 level overall where as it want be a difference in programs in the sense of where it will be anybody can get it making it a level playing field overall for College football
This is why you don't doubt on the underdog school even if they have a not good record. SCSU came into this game on a mission and they completed it. This was a good frfr, I enjoyed this. Both schools had a good season real talk

Glad I made it to this one in the A what a game. Shout out to my SCSU fam and fellow alumni! Incredibly proud of the boys from O-Burg. While this was a big day and win for us but an even bigger one for ALL HBCU’s! This showed not only that Jackson State and Prime Time are doing big things there but the amazing talent within our own HBCU programs. Glad to see Buddy get that big win. ✊🏽💪🏽

Darrius Leonard of the Colts - the highest paid player in the NFL for his position and Javon Hargrave of the Philadelphia Eagles (who started with the Pittsburgh Steelers) along with 5 other former Bulldogs currently in the NFL and 3 Hall of Famers would all have something to say about whether our team is known.

Really he does. He was setting Deion up the entire time, he knew he had a big stick waiting for JSU. If Deion had any HBCU I.Q. he would have known not to underestimate SCSU and Coach Pough and had his team better prepared. I bet the next time they see SCSU on their schedule they will pay attention.
Anyone who has any knowledge about HBCU football knows SCSU deserved more respect then they were given in the weeks leading up to this game. JSU isn't the machine everyone said they were.

The MEAC owns the SWAC when it comes to Celebration Bowls
Seems like it! Maybe our (former) conference has stronger schools and opponents than SWAC (although they wouldn't think so). FAMU came into the conference and came in 2nd or 3rd their first year! The only Celebration bowl loss was NC Central to Grambling...and that was only by a point. A&T (Aggie pride) came in and was never defeated in the bowl. We're now in a new conference too (Big South). Congrats to SC State...they have historically been a real problem for A&T and the rest of the MEAC and their defense is usually as solid as granite, so JSU didn't lose to some scrubs!!!
@@plastudios1328 I agree. Everyone thought Jackson state was going run rampant on South Carolina State. But the bulldogs has other plans thanks to their defense and shaquan Davis shredding the tigers defense. Let's see how next season will fair. My school Delaware State is a long shot but Norfolk State or north carolina central has a shot next season. As for any other team in the SWAC they have to go through Jackson state in order to be conference champs and get into the celebration bowl.

I’m so proud of us
MEAC schools, SC State especially, are known for being very big and physical across the line of scrimmage (particularly on defense) and it becomes very apparent when they play against most SWAC schools. Even at 6-5, I believed SC state would still pose a big challenge for JSU due to having been consistently better all season along the line of scrimmage and having a relatively harder gauntlet.

@@ac__countsc5819 I go to a SWAC school, and even I admitted Deion or not the MEAC has been dominating these challenges because outside of maybe two or 3 schools almost no SWAC school is capable of getting into trench warfare with these MEAC schools, they’re just too physical.
