Thanks for all of the support! the last sound tests i have recorded for the coleys are on a Bakeneko 65 - this way, you've gotten to hear them on a big range of different sounding boards. Hopefully it helps you make up your mind, because preorders are only for THIS MONTH, with no plans for in-stock sale! so get them while you can. links in the description

Just a suggestion, I think you should do a sound test without foam, its very hard to hear the switch itself especially with that much foam and pe foam, almost all boards with pe foam sounds the same

Probably shouldnt sound test with pe foam as it kind of changes the sound profile, otherwise nice video

Check out my sound test for the coleys with the qk65, and later this week on the bakeneko65. Both are built without PE foam. These naturally sound poppy.

I wish the sound test would have been on a board without pe foam or tape mod as this tends to make switches all sound the same or give a false representation of their sound.

I would advise lubing, yes! though i do recommend lubing almost all switches, this one really benefits in the sound department. smooth stock though!

I don’t know why switche specs don’t show this part but what is the actuation point of these switches? In mm

It isn’t really important for most people but for gamers it makes a big difference

Actuation point for most enthusiast switches usually stick around 2mm with a total of 4mm travel distance.
Also: Why it may not be listed is because coley and their partners aren’t a “big” manufacturer who has the resources to calculate such a small measurement (which is very hard to calculate). You will usually only see actuation point listed on switches made by big manufacturers like Gateron and Cherry.
