@Julie's Heart Healed By Jesus Sometimes I think Buddhism is everything that God is, they just don't have The Creator God at the top. The Biblical God always loves precious stones and incense on His Altar. The Buddha, though a Prince was still born into sin but He questioned very deeply about why life needs to suffer and He worked to conquer all the ailments. Jesus Christ was/is the only human born pure and without sin and this is the importance of the symbol of The Cross. All the purity in human nature sacrificed. The world is a tragic place, it so is. The Buddha did conquer tempting demons who came from the hells. The Christian Bible states that The devil walks to and fro across The Earth, hell is not yet made. Hell will be made after Christ's second coming and then all the demons will be locked in it for 1000 years and God then needs to unlock it with His key once more.

@@jampanamgyal815 Tantrism is a distinct part of Buddhism. The "Buddha" you are referring to is the Sutric or Theravedin Buddha. While you are not wrong, you also are not entirely correct as Tantra originates from Vajradhara, the primordial Buddha.

Amazing! This is the most difficult life one leads. To the untrained eye, it might seem it's easy, but the very point of living such a monastic life is to be meditative throughout. Whatever he did from the beginning till the very end, he was completely conscious and aware...being busy every moment, but with intent. This is what meditation is all about. A state of being meditative. Simple life, small tasks, being meditative. Then one might think of living a career oriented life, with the same meditativeness.

@@In_aas_kso_kso_kdlx_kdk You have never tried 3 hours of ceremonial prayer. It is work and takes skill and focus that is acquired in training, not pulled out of a hat. Communities are generally happy when some of their members train in these skills and perform them on request or in selected periods. It creates psycological well-being and togetherness. Perhaps you think prayer/meditation is worthless -- and effortless.

So this video was recommended for me and when I began it to watch my eyes filled up with tears. This life is just so simple and it doesn't need something to be lucky or not. It needs just living. Seeing the life that the monk lives is so beautiful. Ideally living in that simplicity is all I want in life. Its very difficult to have that in the states. So much hate here for nothing. Everyone hates something or someone. That is why when it was explained in the video that the woman was praying for every living being I started crying because that was truly beautiful. I really needed to see people like that. There needs to be more of this in the world. This is so much more fulfilling and beautiful. I was suggested this video after studying the Heart Sutra Mantra. Ty to the monks, ty Tibet Travel for presenting us this video, and everyone else who is on the wave length of peace and simplicity. I will follow that woman's example and pray for all living things.

Only monks in Theravada tradition keep the Buddha's way of life and his original rules. According to this film. Monk strictly forbidden to cook and grow food. And many other things normal for Tibetans monk. And in Theravada they can possess only 7 thing, which they can carry in one small bag. That's simple life. Thanks for you attention and patience.

God provides freely and gives all we need.
With the living God there is no need to idolize any manmade object and walk in the whole spirit of God's moral laws for Love to prevail for all living things, environment, animals, plants, nature and people.
We all have a life course and choice, peace, love and happiness is great sucess.

However those relationships can ruin peace and Love too when not in union with the Oneness and wholeness of God's Spirit. When they do work it is a part of Heaven on Earth. Thank you for presenting such an inspiring video. It is interesting how every event of the day is infused with reverence & an opportunity for spiritual growth. These activities include preparing simple meals, feeding wild dogs, lighting incense for an altar of the Buddha, and praying that a local village will have a good harvest. All of these so-called "commonplace" activities when performed mindfully & in accordance with Buddhist principles can lead practitioners to walk in the footsteps of the Buddha.

Much better for you to get calories through pure fats than carbohydrates as there’s no sugars which can tire the body in fats. Just a very hard diet I would think?

In a previous life long ago I lived as a Tibetan Monk. All of which I didn't learn until age 40. I am now 70 years of age. The habits of a Tibetan Monk have materialized in my life and in my middle age I discovered that Life is about being Happy not pursuing frivolous goals.
My name was Tang Chi Lin, and I was born in Oiang, China. I died by falling off a mountain, a very high mountain.

This is very similar to my Nigerian Yoruba faith IFA. The simplicity, devotion and prayers for the earth, the harmony with nature and the natural world, studying and reciting hundreds of thousands stanzas and stories about Orunmila which is a Budda like figure in our tradition. these parables teach you about having good character, community service, avoiding bad people and releasing an addiction to form etc...water is also very important to my faith too, the idea cleanliness, purity to keep the energy around you good. We use bells and drums in prayer as well. I believe that human beings coming out of Africa carried ideas about God all over the earth. And though we have different names for our traditions the core ideas and some practices are similar because we are human. What a beautiful human culture, the simple truth of our humanity without our enemy, the EGO.

That was indeed a wonderful video. I'm really glad I stumbled upon it unknowingly. I pray may your videos reach all parts of the world. Just had one question, don't really want to forcefully establish any connection between Sanatan Dharma and Buddhism but what would be the reason that butter is given so much importance in Tibetan culture like you've shown in this video. I asked this question because Lord Krishna too was fond of butter and some people also have a theory that Lord Gautama was incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Hence, I just wanted to understand the context of 'butter'. Thank you ☺️
