Thanks for another great video! I was calling in CAS on the M60s as well and noticed that they were all still alive after the strike ended. I must be having the same issue - CAS is going after light armor before going after the heavy. Missiles for me were also unexpectedly weak against the M60s - 2 to 4 hits at least to take one out even if I was attacking from the rear. The unexpected path to success on this mission for me was to use HEI-T on all targets. I've got some pretty neat screenshots of HEI-T detonating on M60 turrets and deflecting down through the hull taking out everything in its path. Oh well... it's still early access!

The CAS at the moment seems to just focus on any APC's in the target area
the helicopter death animation is sooo silly. "let me just roll over!"
The Obscene Odessey Part 4 is so difficult. The jets have no damage model yet so you cant shoot them down.
Totally agree! I can't harm them and they get me within 5 minutes every single time.

Yep , it was crashing on the new bmp2 map, so i re installed the game, now it crashes on every map! Hope it gets sorted out :)
Try to verify your game files. That could help fix it.

You can adjust sight range of 30 mm cannon by CRTL+wheel roll. Its easier than Kentucky windage - set constans at 500 m and click up when needed.
Ah, good point! I didn't know you could set the range on the BMP. Good tip!

@Gabriel Neves it won't. It's part of the combined arms element that is part of GHPC. It's mainly an objective and pve focused game.

I am really interested in this game but I'll have to upgrade my video card. I'm planning to upgrade to a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 6400 since I have an HP SFF computer that can't handle anything bigger than that. What setup is your computer to run this game? I have a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF Desktop,Intel i5,16GB RAM,256GB. Currently I have a Geforce 730 card which runs everything I need so far but GHPC will the most advanced game for my limited rig. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

While your GPU might be a slight problem, the game mostly relies on a decent CPU. The game is still in development, so it's hard to say what the hardware requirements and the game isn't optimized yet
My current setup is: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, 16 GB Ram.
CAS is so damn annoying in this mission, it goes a little like: fire a missile

BMP-2 destroyed

Did you use HEI on APCs ? Really ?
They are M113. The armor is light and just about anything should go through it. Anything bigger than a rifle or pistol round will penetrate it. An RPG would wreck it. But I would have used AP anyway. lol
@@wulfone5961 Oh no, a HEI doesn't really do any damage to armour, it has even less penetration than a ball rifle round.
It explodes on impact and showers everything outside with shrapnels. Those shrapnels have little chance of going trough the alluminium armour, even less so from the front or any angle.
Your API rounds are specifcally made to go trough the thin armour and engulf whatever is inside in flames
I've had to use high explosive rounds on the M60s as well. Missiles / armor piercing rounds don't seem to hurt them much at all. Hopefully this is indeed just a sign of a work in progress.
@@NoBrainSilent This is not always the case. While in-game the HE belt is listed as 3UOR6, it should be a mixed belt with 3UOF8, an HE-Frag-Incendiary shell with the most important part being the A-670M fuze. The important part is the 0.15 millisecond delay on the fuze (where most other HE rounds tend to have a 0.01 millisecond (instantaneous) fuze. As tested by the Finnish, this is enough for the round to punch through 10cm of reinforced concrete and detonate on the other side. When fired at a 2.5cm steel plate, while failing to fully penetrate, a large bulge was seen with deep penetration into the plate.
Because of this, the HE-Frag belt was the general purpose belt, including infantry, infantry in fortified structures, cars, trucks, lightly armored troop transports, and use against helicopters (though anti-air duty was not easy as the commander had to assume control of the gun and switch the stabilizer to the semi-automatic mode) with the AP belt reserved for tougher IFV. Regardless, the HE belt should be the chosen belt if 3UOF8 is part of it in-game (and if not, it's very easy to land rounds into the gunshield and kill the gunner anyways).

However, you can clearly see the HE belt doesnt penetrate the 113 in game, and as such, he would've been better off using the AP belt instead of dumping rounds into advancing vehicles, regardless of how effective those would be IRL 😇
HE shells with too much delay also shatter on armour. Concrete is soft in comparison. And yes okay this is only aluminium.

I'll say this to what I said on an earlier comment before you call them out as "morons."
- GHPC is NOT War Thunder.
- GHPC is primarily a objective-based scenario game and will be PVE/Co-op focused.
- It is part of combined arms element that is intended (along with the infantry that is coming out)
It's not War Thunder. CAS won't be handled the same way. It's an entirely different game.
You can't have a realistic tank game without CAS in it, dude. If they do it right it will make the game more balanced, same with adding infantry.

@@ragnarokstravius2074 Having no infantry and no CAS made it inherently unrealistic. If all you want is tanks go build some models and smash them into each other because this was never the game for you. CAS and infantry were always planned.
