Wow, even though Revan hated the mandalorians for they’re actions across the galaxy. At least he honor this fallen mandalorian who gave her life for trying to stop a fight, between her comrades & the villagers. And showing off his helmet to the Jedi council, for not helping out. Great view 👍🏻
Revan saw them commit genocide so of course he hated them. The whole reason he ended up going to find Vitiate and getting turned to the dark side is the Mandalorians.
I can’t blame him
@@sagesixparties7217 Right? I mean we ALL hate Hitler and the Nazis...except for a small group of really stupid, ignorant asshole people..
It's no wonder the ideology of pacifism enacted by Duchess Satine was considered an insult to some of them. The idea of a species that's known for being the greatest conquerors and warriors in the Galaxy committing to pacifism is Unthinkable to many of them and therefore would be a direct attack on their very pride and way of life
Revan did however reunite them because of Canderous Ordo, having him become Mandalore The Preserver
Wasn't that in preparation for Sith he knew was out there and would come at some point.
@@deimos7577not really. Revan helped Canderous Ordo because he thought he would get some of his memories back.
Standing between armed warriors and innocent civilians un-able to defend themselves isn’t weakness its strength. Defending those who can’t defend themselves is heroic. I find Mandalorians really cool and interesting but the warrior religion mentality is not a foolish thing to live by as we all know looking back on their history and if you apply common sense irl it is not sustainable. I mean tarkin doctrine failed the empire especially after episode 4.
This is very interesting. It's understandable why Revan hated them so much. They committed mass murders, genocides galaxy wide. Full and admiration to the Mandalorian who sacrificed herself to protect the villagers! May the Force be with you too😊
Darth Revan: I hate mandalorians way more than you realize..
You know having a game of thorns style “mandalorian war” that would do the lore of before the events of Kotor would be amazing. Season 1 it would be the mandalorian side of events, and season 2 would be the Jedi side of the same events.
My most favorite star wars character and highly underrated I really hope to see Revan on screen some day!!! May the force be with you
I would love to see that too. And preferably played by someone that can truly being the character to life.
No No No ...
Disney Sucks,
Lucas is a Bozo.
Leave Revan OFF Screen so they can't ruin him.
@TheMostSLENDERking he deserves his own movie though regardless
Why do you want Disney to ruin your favorite character?
@chiquita683 I don't but he deserves a movie or show more than Asoka or any other character
I have a request for a video. What if Revan started his own Jedi Order? He could have done so according to the novel Revan. He offered to teach other Jedi what he'd learned but the council denied him and some even tried to expel him. But cooler heads offered a compromise, not to speak out against his marriage to Bastila if he did not spread his heresies. Bastila wanted to reject their terms, but Revan felt a philosophical war served no purpose. What if he agreed though? What if he decided to leave the order and start his own, boasting that his Jedi would be stronger because they did not deny their emotions and would cower as these Jedi had? He would take from all age groups and perhaps a few Jedi would join in as well, including Meetra Surik. He would aid her in the battle against the Sith Triumvate and perhaps more Jedi would have survived, joining him and not going to the summoning at Kataar. He would still however be plagued with visions and accompany Canderous to find the mask of Mandalore as well as learn the Sith have survived. This could allow him to perhaps build a better relationship between his new Jedi and the Mandalorians and together with the Republic they would make a strong galaxy that could take on the Sith Emperor's forces at the time. Revan would also eventually receive his mask and remember everything he knew before including the foundry. With that and other forces he might unite behind him such as his personally trained Jedi that would be much stronger then the weaker ones they might have a fighting chance.
wow never heard about the story behind the mask that Revan wore, that's actually good writing.
Brilliant info 👌👍
We need a Revan live action movie or Tv show with Keanu Reeves at the Main Character himself.
When I find fascinating about Revan is that he looked at the broader scope of the force itself and practically made it his own. Where even both Jedi, Sith and Mandalorian considered him the living embodiment of the light and the dark side of the force and he practically serve no one except the force itself.
All I want for Christmas 2024 is Keanu reeves as Revan in live action
I want Disney in bankruptcy selling off assets
@@chiquita683that’s unrealistic & you’d be punishing lots of innocent people and employees because of a few people you personally dislike.
@@Competitive_Bid_ Right? Some individuals are too stupid for their own good.
But brownie points, right?
I see you covered it at the end.....
Your channel is so good 👍
Edit: I'm also the 100th liker!
Yay! Thank you!
Can you do what would revan think or do if he was in the prequel era by the time he got his memory back and his thoughts on the republic the clone wars the Jedi and the sith
Would he call out both sides being evil and fools
Would he see right through the siths plan
And would he have contempt for the Jedi not changing their ways
And if he interacted with obi wan anakin padme and Ashoka what would he his thoughts
Honestly part of me thinks the Council so readily joins the Clone Wars as a result of learning the lesson from Revan.
@@granatmof I doubt that
They did it for politics and order not to save lives
Revan I think would be against the idea of using a slave clone army
Fighting for their lives as living beings then using them as fodder against mindless droids
I think he call out the Jedi on their foolish idiocy
And speak out on how the republic sentate is full of fools who are blindly being manipulated out of faith corruption or selfcentered stupidity
I think he be angry at literally how selfish and stupid the people are in the era Jedi included
Only seeing a handful of people are respectable like say padme Ashoka, Rex and a few Jedi
He probably only think palatine gained power because he was in fact the only smart person who actually looks at everything objectively
Revan I think would be neutral in the war seeing both sides were being manipulated thus try to find the sith while the Jedi were being blinded and idiotic to all the signs
Because they know enough to know joining the clone wars or supporting either side means the sith gain power
Yet they ignored it because they thought they were invincible and the republic was 100% good
Revan would be piecing it all together and only join the war to help the side he thinks is in the right at the time
If not explode the war crimes to both sides as a means to show they are being manipulated and are choosing not to see it
If anything I think he show both sides the faults and create a almost civil war in both sides just because he points shit out let alone joins in any of the conflict
Love the video ye thankyou man.
No problem 👍
Having at least a dislike of the mandalorians is understandable. They’re odd, difficult people. That’s an understatement.
Odd one of Revans best crew buds.. is .. a Mando... probably shouldn't tell Revan.
Not just a Mando, but Revan reveals to him where he hid Mandalore's armor. Cassus would become the next Mandalore and fight alongside the Exile Metra Surik. Cassus would not have allied with Sith however.
Revan and malak played horror of the madalorians.
now what is redeemed Revan's thoughts on the matter
I always wondered why Revan wore a Mandalorian mask when he hated their culture and society so vehemently... and now I understand why.
These Mandalorians are nothing like the Mandalorians I've come to know in recent years, like Din Djarin, The Children of the Watch, or even Bo-Katan and her Nite Owls. No... these ancient Mandalorians were warmongering murderers, invading, destroying, and killing for the sake of pride, glory, conquest, and domination. It's no wonder why the Mandalorians and the Sith got along so well in the ancient days of the Old Republic.
The vision Revan received from the mask he picked up must have been heartbreaking - To have seen a member of the culture he despised try to stand up for those who were helpless only to be gunned down for it, it's no wonder he finally lost faith and respect in the Jedi Order, for their cowardice, their hypocrisy, their self-righteousness, and their arrogance.
It honestly baffles me how the Jedi keep making this same kind of mistake over and over, and not learning from it.
But for Revan to embrace the mask of perhaps the one Mandalorian he might have sincerely respected (perhaps he could even have called her a friend had they had the chance to meet), and wear it as a symbol of his commitment to vanquishing the atrocities of the Mandalorians is understandable but also tragic.
There is no way The Children of the Watch or even the Nite Owls would have approved of thz ancient Mandalorians, but that's becuz they experienced the very thing Revan had set out to do - Their (near) destruction.
The loss of their people, their homeworld, their culture, and their pride at the hands of Moff Gideon and the Empire forced them to go into hiding for years thence, and then reconsider everything they had once believed and reevaluate what they had held sacred in accordance to their Creed. When they returned to reclaim Mandalore, they found actual survivors, but also plants and vegetation growing back after Mandalore had long been desolate and near lifeless from their previous generations fighting so much. That alone must have been humbling, and I can only hope they carry the lessons they learned their their losses, their tragedies, and their self-reflections to be better than they were before.
As for Revan... I hope we may see a series or even a film about Revan and see his story unfold before our eyes on-screen instead of just as words or images on a comic.
Errmmm He tsill employed some mandalorians mercs here and there for security.
YES MOAR REVAN!!!!!!
It was a good video
MORE REVAN ( KOTOR ) LORE PLEASE & THANK YOU!
Hello there Part 2
When he turn to light side in the game he turn to them and defeted they leder and became allys with them ..
good VIDEO
Thanks for the visit
He's more machine than man now. Twisted and evil.
Hello there!
Heck Yeah!
Day 349 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
come on Stupendous just answer this guy
Damn dude your commitment is outstanding 🤣
That's easy: under Qui-gon, Qui-gon and Anakin would have gone to rescue Padme immediately, leveraging Anakin's services to Naboo and Padme for the financial aid to secure her freedom as well as a new home on Naboo. With her secure, Anakin would have been raised with an effective father figure who would teach him to listen to the living force. They would occasionally dodge assassin's from Palpatine. Without the death fi Qui-gon, Dooku, would not have fallen, and if Sidieous revealed himself as a Sith Lord, and revealed himself, I then Dooku would have fought Sidieous. Whatever the outcome Sidieous would die or be be made much weaker. Assuming Sidieous loves, the Clone wars would be delayed without the clones being ordered. In such a case Anakin would have more time to train and mature under Qui-gon. If you delay the Clone wars by a decade, and assuming star wars humans develope at the same rate as real humans, the Anakin would serve the Light well into full brain developement around age 27. Ultimately Anakin would not formally be a member of the Jedi, so his marriage to Padme would not be limited. The two of them would work a lifetime together passing Senate reforms to reduce corruption and meet the needs of the outer systems. It may result in a peaceful splintering of the Republic anyway. Their kids would be raised as diplomatically and trained in the ways of the Force and their political dynasty would help ensure generations of continued peace. Palpatine facing a self actualized Anakin would be killed, end of story.
Did Revan wear Beskar armor or was it just his helmet
Hey man your website selling shirts sold me a M instead of the 2XL that I ordered. Was hoping to be able to give it to my brother for Christmas but it won’t fit him so I’ve been trying to return it. I’ve already contacted the customer support email but I haven’t heard anything in weeks.
Waste of money but ok
If I were Revan and watching innocents get killed for blood sport, I’d be pissed, too. The Jedi could’ve prevented Revan from turning if they’d been more active, but then we wouldn’t have gotten this badass Sith Lord.
Then why did Revan trust Canderous so much so he told him where he hid the helm of mandalore?
There is an exception to every rule or standard
Senility
Canderous proven himself as a reliable ally and capable leader and capable Mandalorian Commando
He's specifically talking about Darth Revan, the Revan who trusted Canderous was post mind wiped Revan when he wasn't the dark lord anymore
Indeed the book mentions this
Sabine will redeem them.
Mandalorians were essenitally Saiyans, they live to fight and crave battle.
Atlast ....... Some Wisdom......
To be fair, to classify Revan even as Darth Revan a traditional Sith is a stretch his goals were never to conquer the galaxy, it was to prepare it to fight Vishitiate, and he knew that the Jedi currently would of fallen to the dark side so if they were going to they'd be his Dark Jedi, not the Sith's, it's this reason I also think he reframed from employing Mandalorians what good is a warrior people when the battle field was one that Revan wanted to win on a mental, and philosophical level?
NNNNNNOOOOOOO
Are they using a AI for the script and voice over on these now?
Every now and then the words seem off. Eg: near the start of this vid they say “it is you destiny”
I’ve noticed weird wording like this in the last few videos?
After season 1 I hated them too. Shows should learn to end on a high note
If the Jedi and Mandalorians hate each other why are they friendly in The Mandalorian? You can’t just stop hating someone. It also sounds like they’re plain evil, but Din Djarin seems like a good guy.
they overcome their mutunal hatred for each other.. Din Djarin would help bridge the gap between each other
The jedi and mandalorians during The Mandalorian are completely different to the jedi and mandalorians of revans time.
@@Only1199 is Revan even still canon though?
@@necrogenesis1981 yes but to what extent is still to be seen. in the rise of skywalker we see the names many eternal sith legions all named after sith lords, revan was the 3rd legion.
That is totally untrue. The jedi until the republics fall never trusted the mandos. They killed jango’s father, a man who fought for peace, due to a misunderstanding leading into a series of events leading into the mandalorian civil war
Revan will always be an exceedingly complicated character IMO.
I would say it is a new Revan after KOTOR. And without his prejudice against the mandalorians, he was able to bond with Ordo.
@@rightousIke---Yeah I remember him and Canderous bonding. It was an interesting experience.
If dave filoni touch revan and malak he will emasculated humiliated nerf watered down and turn them into lighthearted family friendly Scooby-Doo characters
That would be cool
@@elasmith4218 🤡
Honestly who cares about Disney canon, this is Legends video.
@user-yq9im9dk9z because filoni love to steal from the EU and ruin it
Revan = Forever Based.
But Canderous was his friend bruh
Honestly if I was just some random Jedi knight I would’ve 110% join Revan to fight the mandalorions I still don’t under the Jedi would just sit and watch the Mandalorions literally terrorizing the galaxy it’s cowardly
Honestly Mandalorians a re only a threat to Jedi in large numbers. It's not surprising Mandalorians and Sith have to Ally frequently to even be able to face the Jedi.
Revan is an interesting character because he was never true Sith nor really a Jedi nor a Grey. He was just Revan. If it was the Wheel of time he'd be a Ta'varen: destiny weaves around him.
Mandalorians are just bullies and complainers when they lose. So far as their capabilities, they're really mid level. They rely on their armor more than skill or tactics.
Mandalor's #1 hater
Revan looks almost like Jesus. Kinda funny. Well, the Jesus what people are indoctrinated into thinking he would look like. Just like Africans an Egyptians, Jesus would have looked at least somewhat dark due to them all basically living in the middle east area
So, the treacherous warmonger refused to recruit the Mandalorians because they were treacherous warmongers.
Checks out.
