The video picks up at a further distance... or you can activate it closer and it tracks you further out. Overall, the size was the deciding factor for me. The OM6 is too big, more complicated & the stowaway in-handle tripod is a game changer. If you are in rough terrain, bring a more stable tripod attachment... but for flat surfaces, this is more than adequate.

FINALLY!!!! 감사합니다 Young. Ice been waiting and waiting and waiting for a S23 Ultra & Insta360 Flow review as everyone uses the iPhone. The one thing I haven't liked about DJI OM Gimbals is that since the OM3 to the latest OM6 have more features and functions than Android...I have the OM4 back when that launched and DJI Mimo does 8x digital zoom on the main camera, no slow motion, no 4k60, no manual exposure controls. As you zoomed in, I could see the app shifting to the 3x Tele and 10x Super Telephoto lens. Can you confirm if the Insta360 app has Manual exposure, slow motion, and 4k60...the features that DJI Mimo doesn't have?

both are great. flow is travel friendlier for its tiny size. hohem is sturdier and has more range of angles in tilt, etc. hard to say which is better tho :) pls watch my vids twice for better understanding if you dont mind 😍

I'm using the DJI Mic 2, and to make it work with my phone, I need to record in Pro Mode. How does your mic work with your Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Insta360 app? I have seen videos where the external mic is plugged into the gimbal port with a USB-C cable plugged into the phone. Do you know if this works with the Galaxy S23 Ultra? As well as the video quality is important so is the sound (especially on windy days😉)
I have both.. i just opened my insta360 flow. the downside is when you use the insta360 app it allows for 30fps 1080p only videos! which is actually when shot with the app is crap not like the same quality of the phone cam! i hoped i will be shooting better shots with the tracking but not i will be using phone cam and hope for the best!

I tried my DJI OM4 sith my S23 Ultra. It just can't handle the weight gracefully. And its grip is not large enough for large cases, so I was using one of the OM series magsafe adapters sold on Amazon. So I upgraded my gimbal.
Why didn't you try it with the native camera on Samsung? Does it even work? Does the app support the telephoto lens? The zoom on the app goes up to 10x, why not compare the quality of zoomed footage with that of the native camera?
it is fine with the case. i thought my phone looks prettier (for youtube videos) without the plastic case haha. i love my red s23 ultra!!! when i use it not for youtube, I always have my case on

it looks like at the beach, i was using Rode Wireless Go 2 and the rest of the time, I was using the mic that came with Pocket 2. (since then, i have upgraded to Pocket 3)

2 Issue here, the handle's battery is on the upper side of the gimbal, which make it's not very comfortable for a long run. The tracking feature is running with mobile phone's chip with NPU built-in, have some compatible issue, some mobiles are not working.

you can always adjust a little to prevent that happening. for me, there is no problem with my s23 ultra :) i love my s23 ultra!! esp 10x telephoto lens!
you can :) it is rather stable and took videos well, but then 360 degree photo was a bit challenging in a very windy condition. the gimbal stood upright alright tho :) but always be careful 😜

My most annoying thing about the flow on android is - i can't turn OFF the auto settings. I haven't found a way how to set the ISO and shutter speeds on my own - very frustating
I know this review is 8 months old. There is one youtuber who really beat up the Insta360 Flow. I want neutral person to judge if the negatives are real or just click bate. You likely have cooler/better things to do :-)

yeah the activation of gesture mode is within 2m, and tracking is done within about less than 10m

so it is just a fancy selfie stick
with the fancy A.I. tracking technology since it has 3 axis gimbal :) definitely ALOT more than a selfie stick
@@Young360 the gimbal has many limitations. It's just a selfie stick that has some movements
