Driving through Wyoming on a Harley looks amazing. Everything was beautiful. I love the tunnel, the mountains, and all the views. I haven’t rode my Harley in a few years but I used to ride through the farmland area by me. It doesn’t compare to beautiful Wyoming. Maybe I should dust it off and take it out of the garage. 👍
@5:12 minutes When you come out of the tunnels and start riding along the river, you may not have noticed as you were going north making the river less visible to you. But the river in many spots gives the illusion of flowing up hill. I was going South the first time I drove along the river. I literally had to stop the car. I turned around just to go back and disprove my lying eyes. I live in Missouri but have been fortunate to travel the U.S. This is one of my favorite roads to drive. I would recommend it to anyone. The optical illusion of the river is cool. The drive South through Thermopolis which as I remember is an old Hot Springs town along the river through Riverton then passing through the tunnels and seeing the Boysen Reservoir is all Eye Candy! The changes in Elevation, the green of the grass along the highway on the north all gives way to the reds and various shades of desert browns when you reach Boysen Reservoir. I always pull off the highway in the first area that over looks the Reservoir. The water has always been dead calm. It has the reflection of a mirror. If anyone is traveling through the area set a little time aside to stop along the river and reservoir. If you're headed south to Salt Lake City you can now take a nap. It's pretty boring from this point on. Unless you're trying to spot Jackelope. Then make sure you have your camera ready. Glad I found your Channel. If anyone reads this and is curious about Wind River just google "Wind River uphill flow" Thanks for the ride a long and bringing back some great memories!
Thank you so much for the info! We don't stop very often on these road trips so it is hard to catch these little things. I appreciate your knowledge on this. I need to drive down there and see that phenomenon.
Another fine video. In 2021 I came up the same way from Casper. Difference being that there was so much smoke in the air from the wildfires that the mountains were hidden until right up on them. 🤪 It was nice to see a similar ride in clear air.
Timely video for me: I'll be doing that same route, Shoshoni up past Cody, next Sunday. I'll be coming in on 20/26 to Shoshoni and then after Cody I'll be taking a left on Chief Joseph hwy. Be camping outside of Cooke city for a couple of days and then on to the Big Hole Valley and some hiking in the Pintlers! Enjoyed watching today. I would love to catch up to you guys for a cup of coffee but unfortunately Red Lodge just isn't quite on the itinerary this year. Tom
That sounds awesome, I hope that you have a great trip!. Who knows maybe we will pass each other on Chief Joseph or Cooke City. I was up there today and even though it was raining it was beautiful.

Hi! Iam a big fan of your videos! Can you please give me some information? Iam planning to move into Montana cause I wanna live in a place with mountains and open space.I've Googled about Cities in Montana and it said Bozeman is the best city! So please give me these informations: 1.Is bozeman safe? 2.Are the people friendly? 3.Is it easy to find a job there?
Hi! Thank you for watching the videos. Bozeman is a beautiful place to live but it is the most expensive city in Montana to live in. I live about 200 miles away from Bozeman so I do not have information on your other questions. I would just be guessing, I don't travel to Bozeman very often. Sorry I don't have those answers for you.
Look way more green than usual for this time of year... 2023 has been a good year for nature if nothing else
We rode through on the 3rd of July and everything was still really green. It was a really nice ride.
Love riding with you. Even if it is from my sofa. Thanks again for a great ride.
I am so glad that you are enjoying the rides!.. Thank you so much for watching.

Getting out in the open air is always good for the soul. Wyoming has some awesome wide open space.

Thank you.! the smoke that year was bad. We were lucky that the weather was good on this ride.
