AMS2s car is the 2020 car which IRL sounds completely different due to the side exhaust, instead AMS2 has put the sound of the 2018 car over the 2020s body, which were different exhausts. For LMU the sound is good with a similar sound to that of the 2023 Car.
Automobilista still uses the 2017 Porsche RSR (Le Mans exhaust system)

@@HamzaSaleem-ez6dl if you're playing AMS2/LMU as a simulator (sim), then cockpit view is clearly the only realistic option. If you're playing casually (like Forza), then chase cam may make sense. But, officially both AMS2/LMU are racing sims, so clearly LMU wins as cockpit sound is superior, just like @benjaminkarslund5842 said.
In the end Audio is really good for both of these sims and not the deciding factor in this case. What really counts is how the sim feels, how force feedback is, how the racing mechanics work and how multiplayer is functioning. Looking forward to AM V 1.6!

At last a proper sound comparison to AMS 2 One big mistake with AMS2 seems the sound does not match the exhaust layout - side exhaust sound much deeper in GTE than the last rear-layout. Good news is the 963 getting a new cross-plane crank post Le Mans! 😁
Feel like both have the sound incorrect. The Automobilista 2 model shouldn't have the sound it has because that's the model year with the Exhausts out the side (Which sounds more closer to the early 2000s 911 GT3 RS) and the Le Mans Ultimate model shouldn't have the sound it has because its using model that has the Exhaust out back together. Odd how both have gotten this so incorrect.
@ssleeKor 0초 전 AMS2 cockpit sound is much realistic. The engine sound, from the cockpit's perspective, becomes muffled and dull due to the car body and helmet. AMS2 deliberately made the cockpit sounds this way.
AMS2 has horrible on-board audio quality. Very compressed and harsh sounding, LMU is very clean and has very dynamic range by comparison. I don't even need the tags to tell which is which.

This. Difficult to compare two cars that sound so different in reality. But I think both teams did a good job
I absolutely disagree. AMS 2 is miles better than LMU. I asked for a refund. VR is no exist at and RF2 engine is terrible.

Why does the LMU car take an entire week to shift gears? Something so basic and sim racing devs get it wrong all the time...
LMU wins. The onboard sound is crucial for full immersion! ❤

automobilista sounds more accurate but it's looped sample therefore it's very noticeable and actually kinda ruined the audistic inmersion
