Piquant is a fancy way of saying spicy/zippy/vinegary. I'm used to hearing it for like mildly hot/sour European food. Same root as the Spanish "Picante" - although most things I've heard described as piquant are mostly pickled and a tiny bit spicy - like pepperoncini.

You know the Karen meme is pretty misogynistic. I dont care how socially acceptable it is to trash on middle aged white women-- having worked retail there are just as many 'karens' as hostile, let-me-talk-to-your manager men, and people of all races. Wasn't just limited to 'Karens'. But It's getting so cringy when people call other people Karens all the time to make a 'clever' or 'funny' point cuz they have no other way to make a joke. It's as cringy as the 'bye felicia' or baby fist pump 'yes!' meme my parents send around. *eyeroll*

*Picture this in your mind... Mikey is driving along down the road, dreaming about food. It's a day like any other... or is it? Suddenly the car jerk to the side and Mikey struggles with it. In the end, he pulls the car to the side of the road safely. When he gets out of the car he notices he has a flat tire. Instead of opening the trunk and getting the spare tire out, he sprinkles just a few drops of his hot oil mixture on the flat tire. That's when a ray of sunshine streeks down and high lights the car. And then, miraculously, the flat tire is whole again.*
