My dad was playing around, as a young kid, on the roof of his house and fell and broke his arm. He didn’t tell anyone because he didn’t want to get in trouble with his mom. 😭
Steak defrosting tip: leave it in a sandwich bag or whatever you have, remove as much air as possible, and leave in a bowl filled with cold water under a trickling tap. It should be defrosted in about 20 minutes! (Check out Adam Ragusea's video on this)
Actually, do the water bath for 5 minutes so you can sear the steak on a hot skillet. Then finish partially frozen steak in the oven. There is a video on this technique as well and it tastes the same.
Never defrost your steaks befor cooking!! Unless your gonna slice and dice em and throw it away in a stirfry.. but if you're gonna cook the steak like a steak, straight from frozen!!! It's not chicken lol.

Mike giving thought to the delivery guy's car from spilled soup is a reflection of how well his parents raised him. I've always thought of him as a nice/polite guy but ever since he told the story about his last relationship I can't stop thinking about how people take advantage his genuine kindness. Mike, not asking you to change in the way you interact with most people in general, but as far as romantic relationships, your kindness will mostly likely be used against you. Some, if not most people are just selfish and will be your "friend/girlfriend" until they no longer need you or think you are becoming too attached. In my opinion, in your last relationship the girl was probably glad it was a long distance situations so she could do whatever she wanted with whoever she wanted when you werent around and be able to travel with you and eat good food with good company during her vacations and escapes. There is a sweet shoppe in my home state of Ohio and City Cuyahoga Falls that sells medium Ichigo Daifuku kit kats for 8.95, I bought three bags and gave one each to my little brother and sister. I ate one on Sunday afternoon and I love it! Japanese sweets or flavors are amazing but you can only find them on certain occasions.

Get a sous vide cooker. I throw frozen steaks in and set it to 129 F. Will be done in an hour, and you just sear it off. Easy and you don't have to worry about defrosting. Alternatively, you can also use the sous vide to defrost quickly (if you just dial it down) as the water circulation alone will defrost quickly.

Kids are made of rubber, and 90% of the time when something serious like that happens they’re more concerned about disappointing a parent or getting in trouble rather than being hurt. That after affect you felt usually has to do with your body reacting to the massive amounts of adrenaline it was using to keep you alert in a dangerous situation wearing off.
Kids aren’t made of rubber. They’re made of the same material adults are made of. Kids just are smaller, lighter, have softer bones, and better recovery. I don’t know how high Mike flew, but if he flew anymore than 5 feet in the air, I have no clue how he didn’t get super hurt.
It also helps when you don't get tense when impacted, a person that can't feel pain usually come out of incidents better than a person that can feel pain bc the instant reaction to pain is to become tense but if a person can't feel pain they'll just be loose and thats the best bet. Mikey probably was in shock and just didn't move so he probably didn't tense up bc of shock and that's why he came out alright.
Better way to defrost (especially vacuum sealed meat): Submerge it (still wrapped) in room temp water. Much faster and more even defrost than a microwave.
Actually cold water is best. Just ask Alton Brown why. (has to do with the cold steak cooling down the room temp water too quickly and all that stuff).
If I heard my ridge say Zuul, I'm running. I've been wanting to get an air fryer to do donuts. Gotta wait till I can afford one though, pandemic has me watching my spending while spending on mostly essentials.
@@eveny119 From my understanding of how they work, it circulates air like a convection oven with a bit of high heat oil. A regular deep fried donut won't work, but I think a modified baked donut could. But this may take time longer then expected. I needed to replace my tires, so priorities.

There is a sweet shoppe in my home state of Ohio and City Cuyahoga Falls that sells medium Ichigo Daifuku kit kats for 8.95, I bought three bags and gave one each to my little brother and sister. I ate one on Sunday afternoon and I love it! Japanese sweets or flavors are amazing but you can only find them on certain occasions.

Get a sous vide cooker. I throw frozen steaks in and set it to 129 F. Will be done in an hour, and you just sear it off. Easy and you don't have to worry about defrosting. Alternatively, you can also use the sous vide to defrost quickly (if you just dial it down) as the water circulation alone will defrost quickly.

Kids are made of rubber, and 90% of the time when something serious like that happens they’re more concerned about disappointing a parent or getting in trouble rather than being hurt. That after affect you felt usually has to do with your body reacting to the massive amounts of adrenaline it was using to keep you alert in a dangerous situation wearing off.
Kids aren’t made of rubber. They’re made of the same material adults are made of. Kids just are smaller, lighter, have softer bones, and better recovery.
I don’t know how high Mike flew, but if he flew anymore than 5 feet in the air, I have no clue how he didn’t get super hurt.
It also helps when you don't get tense when impacted, a person that can't feel pain usually come out of incidents better than a person that can feel pain bc the instant reaction to pain is to become tense but if a person can't feel pain they'll just be loose and thats the best bet. Mikey probably was in shock and just didn't move so he probably didn't tense up bc of shock and that's why he came out alright.

Better way to defrost (especially vacuum sealed meat): Submerge it (still wrapped) in room temp water. Much faster and more even defrost than a microwave.
Actually cold water is best. Just ask Alton Brown why. (has to do with the cold steak cooling down the room temp water too quickly and all that stuff).

From my understanding of how they work, it circulates air like a convection oven with a bit of high heat oil. A regular deep fried donut won't work, but I think a modified baked donut could.
But this may take time longer then expected. I needed to replace my tires, so priorities.
