This is awesome! Love the step by step detail, too. Great job, Chris.
Found one of these mixers on the side of the road, motor full of water. I replaced the bearings, the motor seals, temperature reset switch, gaskets for electric box, and capacitor. All that thanks to this video!!
@@hoofhearted1902 Great job 🎉 So glad to hear that this video helped you…too bad the original owner didn’t think to search UA-cam 😂. This is a great mixer and will do just about any DIY concrete project with ease.👍
Thank you for the video…I found it best to heat up the inner race and install. Helps a lot when using a torch
Five star teardown, rebuild! 👍
Great job and great video. I'm in the research phase for a concrete mixer. How are liking it? Also, if I decide to get one I will definitely buy a couple of sets of the repair kits. The way things are going, those items/ parts could be hard to find or become difficult to find later. Also, greatly appreciate you including all the part numbers for Bearings and seals.
Thanks again.
Hi! Thank you so much for watching the video and leaving a comment. I have had several different brands of cement mixers and this is by far my most favorite! It holds quite a bit of concrete and does an incredible job of mixing it perfectly. Plus, the wheelbarrow style is great. If you’re in the market for looking to purchase one I would definitely be looking into the Kushlan brand. Very solid mixer.👍
Too bad the bearing puller couldn't be reversed to put the new bearings on.
