Was it good? Did you get one? My head wants one of these, and my heart wants a tuono. But I'd get a newer bike with less miles with the gsxs and I also prefer the inline four sound. Will be my first bike in 12 years. Last ride was an original RSV Mille.
@@TheSd1cko I've bought one 2017 from Haslemere Motorcycles. Best bike I ever have had. Great performance, I get about 170miles to tank, cheap to run. Going to upgrade the rear suspension, stock exhaust is a good sound. I had 2008 tuono for a year and I would choose the gsxs every time👍👍
Good review, I loved it when I tested it.. Cheap alternative to Superduke / Tuono but not in the same league re performance. Snatchy throttle lets it down, DynoJet told me it's the worst factory mapped bike they have ever seen! Power commander really transforms it they told me... Great review
Only issue I have with the GSX-S1000 is how tight the gear ratios are, coupled with how tall first gear is... It really feels like there's no point in shifting at all out of first...
I didn't notice any throttle snatch at all when I test rode the F last week lol maybe it's because I ride an older KTM 690 which has the worst fuel mapping known to man under 40mph.
That's not a key, that's a jagged-edged dagger! Better not pull that out in front of cops... On the plus side, you won't find that lock as easy to pick. Interesting bike - I note the long swingarm, massive rear wheel and narrow bars. The centre of gravity seems low and a little forward, so it has a very stable and planted feel. The first thing a buyer would do would be to put flat Renthals on it. The second thing: tail tidy. The engine sounds very smooth. Nice that you reviewed the brakes. The brakes are a major factor in overtake decisions.
@@cdnbcn6164 I have one! Can’t say about old dude but I got a 2016 with 2850 miles on it in mint condition with all the go fast bits already on it! Only thing my bike needs is a fender Delete to make the back look better! Other then that couldn’t be happier with it!
I think me and you are pretty much the same height. How ever with rear sets being so high on most sports bikes, I just cant get on with riding them, Im too use to the SM upright pos. I do like sports bikes, I just dont favor the riding pos.
Who wouldn't enjoy riding this bike? But with the naked market packed out as it is right now I think most buyers will see that other manufacturers have superior products(s1000r, z1000, Speed Triple, and my favourite the Tuono, I could go on). That being said I still would have one in a heartbeat. Black and red if you do it Suzuki. Thanks Spicy.
How is the Z1000 superior to GSX-S1000? It looks better, yes. But it has less power than the Suzuki according to every single dyno it has been to, it weighs more, doesn't have traction control, rock solid suspension and it has considerably higher insurance rate (at least where I live). If I were to get a big naked bike, I'd go for MT-10 or GSX-S1000. I just couldn't bare the extra insurance for the Z1000 because you get less in return.
Did you notice any difference in stability from the faired version? Suzuki claims 20kg of extra downforce from the fairing at 200km/h - so wondering if you felt any of that missing on the naked version. Thanks for the good reviews 😊
@@spicy110 okay, thanks a bunch. The naked version looks a bit better, is lighter and cheaper, I think. So if stability is not a perceived problem - I think I will go for that... in the blacked out Z version though 😉😎
spicy110 hey man Cheers for the reply I know this is on old video, really like the look of the suzuki been on the sv650 and er6n just not the bigger naked bikes , the z bikes seems a lot wider this the susuki looks nibble, is there room for a pillion on the back or the naked bikes or is it a bit tight? cheers ,
Test rode both. Z900 is more friendly (better fuelling, throttle response), but feels much less substantial (engine, brakes, sound). Predictable, but bland. The seating position is better, more upright in the Suzuki, while unnecessarily sporty on the Kawa . Mine will be delivered next week, it was an easy decision in favour of Suzuki.
This bike reminds me of a corvette the way it’s geared! You can just idle around keep up with traffic, but if you want to open her up she will haul your ass, it just keeps pulling and every time I think 🤔 “wow that was a hit” i find more power some how”!
Cracking review Spicy, think you could have dropped in a few shameless links to RnG's crash protection though, put that to one side, I don't know about you but I've fallen for it... hehe :)
A big Bike needs a Big Key! Lol Having said that in all seriousness if you added an windhield to this bike, it really would not be much different to the F version. Except of course for the "Parrot" nose. Performance between these two bikes would be the same, except I think the F is supposed to be more of a sports-tourer.
Question for anyone ... When he says "Naked" what does he mean ?? No Plastics, paint, what... Yeah I've been out of the moto scene for a a good while. Hearing new terminology now about things.
Have only seen one of these on the road and it was the red colour they do. Looked cool.
Testing one tomorrow! Going to part ex my 765 triple if it's good!

PC, sprocket and pipe are the first things I'd do.

Can you try a ktm duke? Ive heard the newer 690s is a big upgrade compared to the older ones

Great review. Really great cameras. I rode it in Daytona and liked it a lot, after not liking the '16 FZ09.
Did you drive your bike with back rider in a long ride?
Love the key, hard to to lose it, even without the special spicy keyfinder.
making it a goal to have this in my life one day
Facey did u get one?

What is the camera gear you're using?
Good review. Like all these Euro 4 bikes it needs an exhaust to restore the sound
The bars are not narrow , and I'm broad-shouldered.
Good review.
Had you though of doing a review of adventure style bikes?
That's a nice bike. Would be a shame if somebody dropped it.
Hahahahahahahahahaha

Anyone who doesn't like a snatchy throttle response.

great review! I am thinkin should I ever go 1000cc its going to be a naked, looks soo sweet. same as most all bikes, exhaust is definitely required
Don't get a Busa. Unless you want to do a perpetual push-up.

I think you would need to be on track and pushing very hard to notice a difference like that. So can't say either way myself.

nice bike..nice review .. I did test ride it once , quite agile and powerful . Can u test ride the Z800 please?
Suzuki gsx s 1000 or Ducati monster 1200 better?
+Mohamed Essam not ridden the ducati but reliability will favor the Suzuki. Tho so people get lucky 😀

Nice review to go with a nice bike. 😎.

this bike looks much more better in real than on the video or photo
I do agree on that!
You forgot the crash bumper as an extra that's worth to get (sorry couldn't resist) 😂
I don't like the exhaust look, but otherwise it seems awesome!
Question for anyone ...
When he says "Naked" what does he mean ??
No Plastics, paint, what... Yeah I've been out of the moto scene for a a good while. Hearing new terminology now about things.
No screen or main side fairings. Also usually has a more sat up seating position than its sport bike cousins.
Cool thanks
the only things i hate on that bike is the signal ligth on the head.
Looks like the result of a GSX-R mating with an FZ-09.
going to miss mine :(
Remember the B king 1300 . These are all his kids
Awesome bike to test ride ^^
my sis loves hers, she traded her 750 in for it. says its easier to ride.
Awesome bike for the money 👍👍👍 is the tuono/superduke worth 1/3 of the price of the Gsxs fuck no!
Baby key spicy 😆.
Wait...thought i was watching Spicy, not ChaseOnTwoWheels
+cRaizeh ッ OK you're the second to say this. What are you on about, after God knows how many reviews. Why are you saying this on this video?
I don't know, just felt like it? I really enjoy all your videos, didn't mean no mean things
My ybr125 was from haslemere motorcycles haha jokes small world
Looks like a Heavy bike....
Hate that dame cheep ass music just ruins the video somewhat.
Sadly royally free music is all like that. I have mostly stopped using music.
@@spicy110 I meant no offence the video as a whole is very good.
