I've been using Sally's Generic version of Shimmer Lights for so many years, just tried TRESemme' purple blonde shampoo and conditioner AND believe it or not it is great too! Also, add some (a dab) Manic Panic Sliver Stiletto conditioner to the Manic Panic Silver Silver Stiletto color, left it on covered for a long time and great results!

I saw this video today and immediately rushed to the store to get it! Unfortunately I didn’t get the same results, my hair is now light blue🤣🤣🤣
UPDATE: after stripping the blue from my hair and giving the shampoo and conditioner another shot I turned myself baby blue one more time😂 but I put my mirror in front of me to see where I was going wrong and the issue isn’t the shampoo, the shampoo actually turned me a really pretty gray silver color but when I add the conditioner after it changes my hair to a light baby blue color for some reason. So the shampoo works great! The conditioner not so much, at least for me😂😂😂

When they introduced that, we were told to mainly suggest it to those with gray hair, or those looking for gray hair (Sally's Employee here)
I've been working at Sally since the end of July last year and I've seen this product for a while and have only ever recommended it to people with actual grey hair so this is very interesting to me to see it on blonde. It's good to know for in the future if anyone is trying to go grey, so I could so recommend this to who ever is! It's so pretty on you so defiantly keeping that in mind thank you!

no WAAAAYYY that got so blue grey out of NO WHERE WTH? i was excited, it looked like the old silvery color from iroiro when you first applied it (the lighter neutral color it used to be). even if its not what was expected it looks SOOO great! it also doesnt seem like its gonna fade too blue or green, not sure but I'm excited to see what happens. this might be perfect for my hair too thanks for introducing it to us!

ok but I'm kind of living for it. why dont purple shampoos work this well? like I've used all the purple shampoos/conditioners and at best, I got patchy results
Stink bugs?! Nope. I have spent hours trying to clean those little shits out of my heater and my air conditioner. They got everywhere one year. I flushed them, I vacuumed them, for shit's sake, NEVER squash them. If anything I'm going to put on my hair smells like stink bugs, NOPE. I don't care how good it may be. NOPE.
So, this looks AMAZING and so far you're the only review I've seen for this product. I have salt and pepper hair which I just bleached as I was going to purple/turquoise my hair. BUT now I'm thinking this might be the way to go. Does it wash or fade out?

My hair is pretty much just like yours. Yellow in the back and some splotchy sections. I kinda figured out a way to get it a silver with even tones, but wanted a little darker. This might work!!! I'm afraid to try it though...lol 😁

Do you have a video on different hair color removers taking out permanent black dye? Trying to avoid bleach until I have to. Color Oops is definitely in question, but I’ve had multiple recommendations and have never tried anything else. Love you! 🥹🌈🖤

I use the milkshake black shampoo for my cool toned blonde hair and love it. I've hadn't heard about this gray enhancing shampoo. Thx for demonstrating, as always ❤
..... I used to use a conditioner that pastel for toning. But I would literally shampoo and not condition in the shower. Then put it on my dry hair and clean house and do laundry all day. Then rinse it out. Even fell asleep with it on overnight once. It works really well for me. 😊
The yellow part is a bit less gray. Maybe if you'd done 3 minutes it would have worked. I'm curious on the lasting power or how this'll work on level 5 or darker
They sell a mask of the grey enhancer, too. So i tested it on a hair extension i had that had been dyed with good dye young orange dye (i forget the shade name) and then faded, but still had an orange tone. I put the mask on for maybe 3 minutes max, not the 5-15 the tub said, and it literally killed all the orange pigment and left it a silver/ very light gray. I think this product is very, very strong. Anyone planning on using it should be aware that leaving it on for the amount of time their bottle says will basically straight up dye your hair grey. If youre looking to cancel out remaining orange pigment without bleach this product does a crazy good job of that.
