mech jeb has functions that allow you to align your craft to your docking target a specified number of degrees, allowing you to get modules like this lined up absolutely perfectly, making things more convenient ,real cool design as always
Normally I would have added mechjeb to all parts to do this but I wanted to try it manually and I didn't do too bad, also mechjeb struggles with asymmetrical shaped craft especially when some inept Kerbal doesn't balance the rcs thrusters 😂
How do you move the base parts in space? I don't know how to do that I men's I know how to turn them in different ways but I can't get how the Frick am I supposed to move them
You know, if you land it first, THEN assemble it on the ground, then 1,) You get a mobile base 2,) Can spare about 200 parts from rcs thrusters and fuel, so no need to melt your pc, and 3,) You can get rid of the lander stage later, further reducing the part count of the final base... You know... in case you... um... ever want to use it for anything, other than just showing it off!
Good point I used to build bases on the ground it was always a pain to align stock docking ports especially if the ports height were wrong as for cpu melting I can stand 15 FPS 😂
No, I meant Burn Together, or how the mod is called that lets Kerbals automaticly run after another one, if enough Kerbals are running after a single Kerbal they begin to run onto each other, like it happened on the Mun in your video, but if you use even more Kerbals, they will squash each other and turn some into Spagetti, just remember to save the game, before doing that.
Oh yes Thank I um did it for checking if people read the description.. Yes that's right I was just checking if people read the description 😂 I just rushed it as messed up the first render of the video so had to render it again then upload
Awesome base mate. Sorry to hear about your tongue 😝. Getting back to sstos any time soon? I've been messing with a blue origins/spacex style rocket ssto... Kinda got bored of planes and this has been a fun New challenge. Having any sort of extra dv by the time you make orbit with an ssto rocket is not an easy task
That is way past cool...
Aerospikes proving that they are useful.
I though they were cool and surprised they are not used as much as they are lighter engines

Ikr :)
Amazing! Thanks for your hard work! Hey man the kerbals goofing around at the end was so cute! I wish their shot was longer!!
I thought it was cool to add the Kerbal shots I should experiment more with the kerbal following mod
Someone around 4 minutes in "...ok, this is the most Orb8ter music EVER. I approve!"
I though the retro sounding music would be awesome 😎
Nice Work!
Thanks :)

Genius level construction right here.
I really don't know if Kerbal physics work like this but you should try and make a ring station around an asteroid.
I should try something like that especially since someone made a giant ring station
Could you make a video on how you made the station and rocket?

can u show us how u made it tho
You are my hero. Could barely believe what I was seeing. #goals
Do you have a way to dowload this?

If you stack enough Kerbals on to each other, you will summon the Kraken.
Stacking Kerbals sounds like a challenge :D

Hmm sounds like the Kerbals smashing together will cause a singularity now I have to try this 😎
The base looks great!
Thanks 😎
can you post the .craft file?
where is the craft file?
This helped a lot. Thanks.
Should I start ksp videos?
Tutorial pls
More videos like this please
how to get anything into orbit... just stack up 5-6 Saturn V...
The WOW MUN base couse the base is in an shape of an M or W
Hmm the Mun Wun base 😂
@@Orb8Ter totally right now your thinking like me :,D
