The first 4-5 Day On The Green concerts were the best...then the very young teenager crowd found out they allowed alcohol in, and that ended the party for most of us. They infiltrated one of the best events EVER. Sorry to all the youngsters but it's not fun when your puking all over the place, just sayin'...

i was at a day on the green in 1977 to when the eagles was there with there Hotal California tour it was great hart was there and that was the time when Joe Walsh had joined the eagles back then.

Sad to say. I was there. I drank almost a gallon of beer before I went in. I woke up on the grass in the middle of Fleetwood Mac. Lol thank God I’ve been sober for 30 years.
