The original version is by an Italian punk band, "CCCP". The original is almost a tango, slow, poignant, full of resigned desperation. The Sanremo Festival is held every year and participants must present unreleased Italian songs but, during the third evening, they must do a cover with a guest. That's why Maneskin (who won that edition with "Zitti e buoni") chose "Amandoti" with guest Manuel Agnelli
The way you pronounce it is the correct Danish pronunciation. Måneskin is the Danish word for "moonlight". However, because they are Italian, it is often mispronounced "the Italian way" as you heard the announcer say it in this video. This is the way Americans usually pronounce it as well. Because of all this, the band accepts both pronunciations. The only one they *don't* quite like is the one that sounds like "main skin".
Greetings from Italy. Personally I listen to a bit of everything but Italian music has a lot of rubbish songs. Maneskin however, I must say that taking into account the inexperience dictated by age, started out right away as experienced veterans of rock ballads (see "Morirò da re" where they were 16 to 18 years old, or "Torna a casa"). We Italians go from rubbish to maximum quality, we have no middle ground on a bit of everything. I made this premise because I would like you to listen to a song by a sacred monster here in Italy, namely Vasco Rossi. I'll just tell you that the peculiarity of this dated singer is that he has a song for every moment of life and sometimes it may not seem that great but it's not easy to imitate him. He's basically a rock singer followed by teenagers to pensioners. I just say "Modena Parck 2017" has set a record of paying spectators... I'll send you the link of the song "C'è chi dice no" (there are those who say no) a rock ballad with the best guitar solo of all time (min. 3:50 onwards) as well as a splendid song. I await your amazed review, I'm sure of it, trust me! ua-cam.com/video/qJrVkSIbZAA/v-deo.html

It's moneskin, but sometimes italians pronounce "maneskin", but in a wrong way
You need to watch " Lá paura del buio" live !! Its amazing!!
si pronuncia Moneskin perchè è un nome danese e la Å si pronuncia con un suono tra la a e la o 🤣🤣
