you'll be surprised how often you say that when listening to Blind Melon. That's Brad Smith. Not only does he have chops/tone, but he also wrote "No Rain". The whole band is underrated...as their own separate ingredient or all combined into Soup. It's all underrated.
Was at this show...hung with all of them before the show....then 3 weeks later he left us. So grateful to have seen them 11 times in concert. Magic band....great memories

shannon hoon was such a talented vocalist, so many notes not many singers can reach! super technical band aswell, love all there songs compositions so inspirational. r.i.p shannon hoon!
I saw all of the big 90s bands Nirvana,Soundgarden,Alice,STP and Blind Melon. It really sucks they don’t get the credit the other bands from that time get. Shannon was as good as any of those other singers.
I love that they make it sound like a fade-out at the end. It bums me out every time I see this old footage of this band - they were goddamn brilliant.
This whole show is an example of how a band can be heavy as fuck despite not really playing heavy/hard rock.

Glen Graham is one of the most underrated drummers in rock history, guy is an incredible force on the kit
I used to play drums to the whole Soup album when in high school, he i’d definitely one of my biggest influences
