- Former President Donald Trump was the target of an apparent assassination attempt Saturday at a Pennsylvania rally, days before he was to accept the Republican nomination for a third time. A barrage of gunfire set off panic, and a bloodied Trump, who said he was shot in the ear, was surrounded by Secret Service and hurried to his SUV as he pumped his fist in a show of defiance.

What is sad is there is only one elevated location: the water tower. The two snipers had to focus on the buildings directly before them. How did they not see a young man walking all in light gray with an AR-15 open carry?

I was working in the town of Lebanon Ohio on a house one year when mitt romney was giving a speech. I was on a ladder 25ft up painting a window that i had papered off, jamming out on my headphones. Had absolutely no clue what was going on around me. Just my airless sprayer and my tunes, when i was approached by 2 average Joes tapping on my ladder, grabbing my attention and demanding me to untape the windows and discontinue my work. Naturally i responded to them and told them to kick bricks because i had money to make. Things hadn't quite registered yet with me other than finishing my work. Of course after my refusal, they didn't give me an option and made it known to me who they were, which happened to be the CIA. I guess my point with that experience, is how in the hell did the CIA miss this to where Trump literally took a bullet for America.

I've heard pretty much the same thing from a lot of different commenters, even some real life friends of mine. Some people roll up that just look like they're wanting to cause trouble (typically plain clothes, sometimes even in uniforms of local businesses) and they ignore the dudes until said guys flash badges and go "okay, not asking anymore, we're telling."
Crazy stuff! I'm definitely interested to see where the faults happened. I don't think it was fake or staged, I just think there were likely a few lapses in communication at a time where there should've been some of the tightest comms ever.

You’re incorrect in saying 150 yd is what Combat training requirements are to qualify.. its 300yd and even saying it like that is not complete accurate. You are given 20 or 30 rounds to complete a course with multiple targets at different ranges of which the farthest target is 300yds.
