well, there's dynamic and there's completely throwing of the atmosphere with too much of musical contrast. Somethings just doesn't mix, like proper extreme metal and sudden Evanescence-esque vocal lines. It's just poor taste.

Agreed! Growls aren't the ONLY vocals in metal! In the 80's uprising of metal, clean was ALL we had...and if we had the same _ELITIST_ attitude about vocal styles, then anything else but clean would be total sh!t to us, yeah?!

I came to this song because of Tatiana but am now a fan of Decapitated. Great playing and the songwriting is a level up from a lot of what is out there.

I'm just pleased with the use they have made of the guests. They adapted to some shape of djent to feature Tatiana, such as pure groove with Robb. Simply perfect music
Wow, from 2:40 until the end is pure magick and bliss. It got me emotionally where metal has had an eternal grasp of me! Goosebumps
I dont care what they do. I'm just a straight up Vogg fan. Hands down one of the best riffers ever. Solos are cool, but riffs are forever. People will always remember a riff over a solo.
The section that starts at 0:58 is one of the sickest fucking things I've ever heard. Thrashy but groovy as hell. So sick.
Vogg's solos and melodic fills are every bit as memorable as his riffs to me. A lot to pick from, but my fave from Decapitated is Invisible Control, the final song from the album Organic Hallucinosis.
VOGG is as creative on guitar as Dimebag Darrel was back in the day.

The new single is beyond awesome. I rarely get excited about new music lately, everything sounds so familiar and recycled. But this piece is something - progressive composition, those technical riffs and harmonies, so many details and of course great singing. I've been a Decapitated fan for more than 15 years and it's nice to see you evolve. For those whining about the band's progress - if you want Winds of creation, go listen to Winds of creation...
So basically you only get excited because of biases.. Right this isn't exactly a super unique sound from decap it's quite familiar. Sure the female vocals are cool and bit different. I think it's a awesome song but not what you're making it out to be

This band would still be Decapitated of old if Vitek was still with us. His drumming style was very unique and extremely technical. There's nothing special about any of the drummers who have followed, including Krihm whos incredible talent was wasted in this band.
My child became fully self-aware to this song.
I'm an old school Decapitated fan and have gotten bored of the same old stuff. This is so new, I'm excited to hear more. I always love what Tatti brings to the table!!

You are correct, I don't know one death metal band that sounds exactly the same as they did in their early days, not even obituary sounds exactly the same. They might use the same formula as their early stuff, but even then they've changed it up just a bit.
@@trendmassacre8423 I wouldn't call them death metal after the negation . More like a mix of oldshool death thrash,groove metal with a meshugga super gated crunch that really cuts and punches on palm mutes. Like Sepulatera, possessed and meshugga had a child. It's kind of its own thing.

I didn't like this song at first because of the clean vocals but I'm back to say it's now one of my favorites. The guitar, drums, and bass under the cleans are so good I just don't even care about them. Every time I listen to the album it gets better and I've no lie listened to it probably 30 times already. My favorite album in a very long time.
