I cannot wait to serve as an ordinance worker in this beautiful and sacred building after its Sep 17, 2023 dedication! Thank you for this inspiring video.
Im a new convert to the church and I just got my temple recommend to do baptisms. I look forward to coming to this house of the Lord. Edit: I came to the temple and what a holy, and sacred experience it was.
I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. I have been married for 28-years. I know that I am not perfect and have made many mistakes in my life and in my marriage where I didn’t place my wife ahead of myself - I have been truly blessed by a wife that has loved and supported me in my imperfections and that’s why I know my marriage has found the success that it has. We, members, have the same trials as everyone else ranging from drugs to infidelity - But when I drill down, I find a better understanding how my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ love absolutely - I appreciated your take on it and appreciate the open questions, because I had the same questions even after 50-years of membership
Beautiful Temple of the Lord. Holiness to the Lord. The House of the Lord with it Eternal purpose to Be with God throughout all Eternity by ordinances and covenants performed in the temples of God. There no other way. Faith, Repentance, Baptism by Immersion and Confirmation of the Holy Ghost and endure to the end.
Of course. Let the Spirit Speak for Himself as we contemplate the majesty and beauty of the Temple AND about the Truth and Importance of what we do inside. Blessed be the name of God!
Hi Charles, thank you for the opportunity to clarify the structure of the baptismal font. In the Old Testament, decades after the tabernacle was dedicated, Solomon built a great temple complex. Included in the temple was a large basin font supported by “the similitude of oxen” which are symbolic of the 12 tribes of Israel and also signify the strength and power on which God has established his work for the children of mankind. You can read more about the Biblical history of the 12 oxen here: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/1993/03/i-have-a-question/why-are-oxen-used-in-the-design-of-our-temples-baptismal-fonts?lang=eng
@@MichaelSmith-fq3pg There are some temples announced by Nelson that still have Moroni on them. Feather River California has Moroni and was announced by Nelson. Red Cliffs Utah is another example. It depends on the temple design. Layton Utah is another of Neslon's anouncements. There are more I didn't mention as well.
Hi there. Throughout history, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples. Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship, and we believe the temple helps us become better people and better disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that through Joseph Smith, the gospel of old was restored to the earth along with the building of temples and temple ordinances. Why do they always have the Bulls holding up the baptismal pool?

12 oxen 12 tribes of Israel. See pictures of King Solomon’s Temple courtyard. Nothing new under the sun. The nickname was the sea
This is a nice temple, but does anyone know when the Eugene, Oregon Temple will have an open house and have its dedication?
Probably in 2026.
Just curious why isn't Moroni not placed on the new Temples?
Simple: The Church is moving away from the image of Moroni to the Reminder of Christ, since these are His Father's and His Temples.
None of the temples announced and constructed by Nelson have Moroni on them.
Probably building zoning restrictions in that area, or when that Temple was being drawn out and blueprints made, they were told not too.

Salta Argentina is another. Recently the church has changed their temple design and is moving away from the Moroni statue as you indicated.
Gorgeous, can I ask where is Moroni?
Why no angle moroni?
Church is moving away from the Moroni statue because it is not his temple.
Another new one! haha
WHY R THEY CALLING IT A TEMPLE. IS IT A MUSLIM TEMPLE.
