Gunship 2000 - Part 2 - Storage Raid

Since we still flying solo I will be tackling one mission target, unless they are in close proximity of each other. We don't want to spend more than 30 minutes on a mission.
Nearby Aircraft Storage was designated as a Primary Target - we will be hitting it with default loadout, since the air activity is low we won't need additional A/A missiles.

The best Apache simulator for DOS era...second being Longbow 2 for Windows era...

Best Apache sim for the Amiga - yes, but for DOS era you still had Digital Integration Apache Longbow and Jane's Longbow which were both exceptionally good if not better than GS2000.

damsonn yes you are right.. as for Longbow there is only Longbow 2 in my book, still the best Apache sim for Windows era.

Thanks for posting! Whats the best technique for dodging missiles? I keep getting shot down, even on the easiest settings. Thanks in advance!

I guess it's to put the incoming missile on your 3 or 9 o'clock while flying forwards at the last moment turn into the missile, you can drop additional chaff/flares (your CP/G should do it if you set it before the mission) and engage radar/IR jammer. If you have some terrain feature you can put between you and the missile it's the best solution - hide behind the hill or fly into riverbed (or even a train tunnel if nearby). On patched PC version it's a bit easier because you have more control over your helicopter - you can fly sideways which you can't do on Amiga version.
