I remember years ago i was a freshly baptized christian and I wanted to check out the quran just to see whats written although I know that Jesus is Lord, the energy that the quran showed me was scary at that time, this eerie energy i was feeling from it just by flipping the pages while holding it. "Yes, Yes, Yes, It Is “Very Obvious” That We As Faithful Jehovah's Witnesses “Deny” That Jesus is God!!
But, Why?
Because, Jesus himself “denied” that he is God, and we “believe” Jesus when he tells the Jewish religious leaders who he really is, and they accused him of “blasphemy” for telling them the truth about who he really is.
So, Jesus, had the opportunity to set the record straight, once and for all time, as to whether he is God, or not!!
Now , the question becomes this:
Who, did Jesus tell the Jewish religious leaders that he is?
Well, to get the answer, we must go to (John 10:36) in the Bible, this Bible Scripture has Jesus asking why they are calling it “blasphemy,” when he tells them who he really is.
John 10:36, (New Living Translation) has Jesus asking them this question, it reads:
[“Why do you call it “blasphemy” when I say I am the “Son of God?” After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.”]
Yes, Jesus himself says that he is the “Son of God,” and thus he “denied” that he is God.
In fact, the Jewish religious leaders had Jesus put to death, because he said that he is the “Son of God.”
And, here is the Scriptural Proof:
John 19:5, 7, (New International Version) confirms this, it reads:
(5) [“When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, ‘Here is the man!”]
(7) [“The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to it he “must die,” because he claimed to be the “Son of God.”]
So, now, the thought provoking questions are these:
Who, are we as faithful Jehovah's witnesses supposed to believe?
Jesus, when he says that he is the “Son of God,”?
Or, the people, who are saying that “Jesus is God”?
We, as faithful Jehovah's witnesses, “believe Jesus,” and we “refuse” to believe the people who say that Jesus is God!!
Why?
Because, to believe that Jesus is God, would be calling “Jesus a liar” at (John 10:36) where Jesus says that he is the “Son of God.”
And, here is the Scriptural reason, why we as faithful Jehovah's witnesses, “believe Jesus,” when he says that he is the “Son of God,” at (John 10:36):
1 Peter 2:22, (Contemporary English Version) reads:
[“Christ did not sin or ever tell a lie.”]
So, Jesus, “did not lie” when he said that he is the “Son of God” as shown above, at (John 10:36)!!
Will, you believe Jesus in his own words, that he is the “Son of God”?
We, as faithful Jehovah's witnesses do!!
Clearly, it has been Scripturaly proven, by Jesus own words, that he isn't God, Jesus says that he is the “Son of God,” right?
So, who is God, according to the Bible, and God himself?
Deuteronomy 4:35, (The Bible In Living English) answers the question, who is God? It reads:
[“You have been shown, so that you may know, that “Jehovah is God,” there is “no other” besides him.”]
So , the above Bible Scripture shows us that “Jehovah is God,” and that there is “no other” besides him, right?
And, this next Bible Scripture has Jehovah God himself, in his own words, confirming that besides him, there is no God.
Isaiah 45:5, (American Standard Version) confirms this, it reads:
[“I am “Jehovah,” and there is none else; besides me there is no God.”]…
So, when Jehovah God says:“Besides me there is no God,” it is a true statement, he “did not lie.”
Jehovah God “cannot” lie, it is impossible, and here is the Scriptural Proof:
Hebrews 6:18, (English Standard Version) confirms this, it reads:
[“So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is “impossible” for God to lie.”]
So, the absolute truth from the Bible, is that “Jehovah is God,” and Jesus is the “Son of God,” yes, the Son of Jehovah God.
And, as far as any Bible Scriptures that show Jesus is divine, or angels are divine, or whether a human being is divine, being called divine “does not” mean that you are God!!
So, what does being called “divine” mean?
Well, I googled,
“What does it mean if someone calls you divine”?
And, here is the information that came up from the, American English- Collins Dictionary, it reads:
[“Devoted to God, religious, supremely great, good.”]…
So, to be called “divine,” means that you are devoted to God, and as shown above by means of the Bible, “Jehovah is God,” and there are many examples of angels, and humans, being devoted to God in the Bible.
Jesus, is also devoted to his Father, Jehovah God, he was sent to earth by Jehovah God, to do his will.
And, here is the Scriptural Proof:
John 6:35, 38, (New International Version) confirms this, it reads:
(35) [“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”]
(38) [“For I have come down from heaven “not” to do my will but to do the will of him who “sent” me.”]
So, again, to be called divine, “does not mean” that you are God, thee God, God Almighty, those titles belong to Jehovah God only!!
And, here is the Scriptural Proof:
Genesis 17:1, (American Standard Version) confirms this, it reads:
[“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, “Jehovah” appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am “God Almighty.”]…
Yes, Jehovah God is “thee” God, God Almighty, and besides him there is no God!!
So, here is something to think about:
If, Jesus was “God in the flesh,” as billions of people have been “misled” into believing, that would mean that people “saw” God, right?
So, how do you explain this Bible Scripture:
1 John 4:12, (New International Version) reads:
[“No one has “ever seen” God, if we love one another God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”]
Yes, the above Bible Scripture, shows us that “No one has ever seen God,” right ?
So, how could Jesus have been God, or “God in the flesh,” when people saw Jesus, and the Bible clearly shows us that “No one has ever seen God”?
How?
Think, about that.
And, all of the above, is the Scriptural reasons why we as faithful Jehovah's witnesses obviously deny that Jesus is God, and why Jesus himself denies that he is God, at (John 10:36) quoted above."
