Why is there so much hate toward creators and makers of things?

- Hey guys, this subject needs to be spotlighted. Probably doesn't relate to game development in particular, but every time you will start making something you will be noticed by a particular group of people. Upon a closer analysis it seems like their patterns are always the same. Decide for yourself what's going on here, I only provide this information #minecraft #gaming #gamedev

Yeah this applies to everything, not just games. Because criticizing is fun, it lets you feel better than others
But how is it justified when the critic has never created anything or doesn't have enough experience or knowledge to accurately assess value of a work? Doesn't it just backfire to expose who they are?

out of curiousity, how is this game going to turn out? will it stay as an infinite building game, or become some sort of survival or rpg game?

could i get a copy of this game (i can haz code under gpl3 or any newer version?) Also what optimisations are used.

I'm actually not sure. First I just want the tech demo out. It'll definitely be a free form multiplayer world builder. But I do have an idea for a game it will come with.

How adaptable is your voxel display technique to other engines? There may be more money in selling this technique than trying to build a new game. However, don't give up. This is good stuff!
