I agree the twister make the game for realistic and destroys crops but I live on a farm in Wisconsin and I don't remember the last time there was a tornado so in my opinion I think mud or more mud effects where you can get stuck would've been a better addition
Another Wisconsinite here. It doesn’t happen often, but I can think of three field areas that have had a tornado go right through them within the last 10 years. One of them even had a large grain bin torn apart! This was in SW Wisconsin, with the most recent one I know of being two months ago.
Seriously. Who cares if the warning labels on the trailer are legible if the animation for filling it, which is something you're actually going to notice on a regular basis, is so terrible?
The game does look alot better and the additions seem cool too but the fact that they still don't have the screens or even camera's working inside the machines is a joke.

I am kinda baffled at how much time Giants needs to catch up with the modding advances. For example, gearbox, GPS, seasons, and more realistic physics were introduced in Farming Simulator 2015 by modders. That was almost 10 years ago. Also, Giants needed 3 more games to finally develop the dynamic ground effect. For me, 19 and 22 were just an extension of 17 with wider gameplay mechanics but not significant engine changes. But Giants kinda copies from modders. For example, tractor models in FS11 and FS13 didn't have blinkers and working lights. Modders made them and added them to Numpad buttons. In FS 15, Giants added working blinkers and working lights on Numpad buttons. So my opinion is that Giants need to consult with modding community more during development, because they seem to make advancement quicker than Giants developers themselves.

The only gaming company actually developing a game and investing million’s and into the Billion’s is RockStar Games. You are absolutely right about how sad it is how modders are able to make awesome mods yet the company is way behind.
FS17 on ps4 was a legit good game, probably the best so far IMO. Its been stagnant ever since. With that said its not like anything in FS17 was ground breaking, it just looked ok and ran well, it was the most polished of the games. I agree that the modders have done more for the game than giants have at this point.
22 was a big improvement over the other games and I don’t think 22 looks that bad. All previous games they literally had 4 directions. It was terrible. 22 I think they upped it to 8 directions which looked a lot better but yeah this game looks to be even better
We need basic weather effects 😢 floods, droughts and actual damage to crops from these. Lightning storms 😢 basic tie-stall dairy operations with functional barns. Fix the basic game
It's probably going to be redefined in dlc or the next game. They are building a new engine, so they need the twisters to become a stable base for the added effects.
Its so painful that they dump so much into the fieldwork which is so mundane and boring, they should put serious work into ai, economies and actual management

Rocks are a small thing, i always play with them on, you only have to pick up the big ones, that only come after plowing. Seems like a reasonable thing to do after 3-5 harvests, i also make my own lime and fertilizer from it.

I don't mind the GPS and better AI help, but the GPS lines are a definite turn off for me . If you can remove the GPS lines would be great . I have been playing Farming Simulator since 2015 .
More people need to boycott this game until they actually put an effort into their game besides simply changing a couple simple features that modders could have and or did do. They just refuse to change game engine or do serious physics overhaul as long as you keep throwing money at them for repacking old products.

as a resident of the midwest and tornado alley. this feature is not only a cheesy gimmick, but very unrealistic. the odds of a tornado coming thru your farm is very slim. I feel giants should have spent more time in other areas than this.
Yeah, the harvested ground texture has improved from the flat almost shiny floor look. Tractors actually sink into it too. Nice improvement. I wonder why they are hiding the AI demos? Worries me because in 22 it needed to be actually intelligent as advertised but you have to babysit the AI all the time. It's a pain in the arze. Hopefully it will actually be "intelligent" in 25.
I saw a video where volumetric lighting and shadows were mentioned but I didn't see the machines cast shadows from their own lights. Also the actual ground seems to have again no depth or impact in a game focused on driving big machinery off-road :/

Honestly, develop the weather system more (Eg, you see a storm rolling in instead of it literally spawning) and give the tornado system some changes (proper realism for a realistic game), then a number of the realists would be happy. Couple that with general physics and textures upgrades, you'll get a bestseller instantly

I hope that playing with friends especially with mods installed is easier... There should be the ability to join your friends game, push a button to download their mods not have to go into the mod hub and download everything single one separately

I wish they allowed people who paid for session one or any DLC that they can use the equipment if playing with a friend who has not. Other games can do this like Conan Exiles.

How we create the job? Nobody shows the menu.. for example if i want custom work with 2 headlands and work with two harvesters or cultivators like the courseplay.. there's a way/possibility for doing that?
15:00 - 15:20 the movement of the tractor still looks so unreal, it's so generic.. Cant see it will react with the surface of the road at all, it's just moving in a generic way IMO
i know this isn't the final product......only difference i see so far is graphics but everything else looks the same planting harvesting not totally impressed from what i am seeing hopefully i am wrong and things will be amazing but im not going to keep my hopes up at all

Yeah, big fail IMO. Still using the same method as 10 years ago. Hardware is so much more powerful and can handle much higher LODs.

harvester models like the Ploeger MKC-4TR would be a nice addition to the game. that way the IT runner would be used more.

@@patrickhoffman7730 that's kind of the whole point of the twister though no? to make the game more difficult, if you dont want destroyed crop disable the twister!
I wish they allowed people who paid for session one or any DLC that they can use the equipment if playing with a friend who has not. Other games can do this like Conan Exiles.
Snowrunner you can join dlc region in co-op multiplayer even if you don’t own it.👌
I wish they could make it to where the tornado knocks trees over and leaves debris in the roadways to where you would have to clean it up to get where you need to go

Do the trees come back or will there eventually be no trees in fs 25? And does the twister ever disappear or just move around the map?
I don't understand why Giants don't have us making Amish carriages rather than the ones they currently have, it would make more sense.
How we create the job? Nobody shows the menu.. for example if i want custom work with 2 headlands and work with two harvesters or cultivators like the courseplay.. there's a way/possibility for doing that?

15:00 - 15:20 the movement of the tractor still looks so unreal, it's so generic.. Cant see it will react with the surface of the road at all, it's just moving in a generic way IMO
i know this isn't the final product......only difference i see so far is graphics but everything else looks the same planting harvesting not totally impressed from what i am seeing hopefully i am wrong and things will be amazing but im not going to keep my hopes up at all
