They are both awesome, I loved the techniques you used in them. But when I stated the video I was sure I was gonna love the Christmas tree one best but by the end I absolutely loved the hardwood one and when you showed it in the living area, it looked like a classy piece of furniture.
They look sweet Pete quote of the video though try get close to blacktail studio think that's what we're all trying to do!! Although a see the northern cam Anderson starting to show there!Take it you get no leaks with what looks like sellotape barrier?? Channel think you should check out startmaking woodworking mark over there does some awesome stuff think you'd like it. 👍🏴
Thanks! You know, I was really pleasantly surprised how well the sellotape worked - no leaks at all using sellotape and hot glue. Not sure it’d be the same with a huge table top pour though!
@@northernworks no don't think it would be but great into to help me for my next little one a tried it wee while ago to fill a through crack let's just say am still in dog house with the wife after it didn't go to plan. 😬
I thought so too, but it takes my weight ok! I think the actual issue is going to be over the long term - it might need some reworking to reduce the splay
Entertained thoroughly by the energetic dog in the background
That is a brilliant project and great recycling ! I prefer the one with the black legs.
Thanks Tahir, me too. Looks great in our living room
"All equally inaccurate" sounds like a great phrase to put on some merchandise 😊
Haha, probably a good motto for life too
Great job, you basically made this with just a few tools. The epoxy one looks amazing.

Thank you! It looks great in our living room
You should be so proud of these and the attitude and skills on show. Keep it up mate, top notch
The christmas tree stool would be really nice at christmas as a table/stand for the new tree to sit on. I think that would be cool
Ooooh, that’s a nice idea. Might need to be a bit shorter to work as a tree stand
@@northernworks Yeah would be a shame to chop the legs down. But easier to store away in the loft and just drag it out at christmas.Good channel btw 👍
Two excellent builds, nice job Pete. Black legged one takes it for me, super stylish.
Thanks Ian
Great to see these come together. So many new skills learnt along the way too!
Thanks chief! Learning a little every time
Love your pup... so energised
I've said this before! I must really love him...

The black one is brilliant. (Both are to be fair)
Thanks! I enjoyed doing those centre cross lap joints

doggo: "I"m helping!"
“Helping” He’s mainly just trying to steal things to chew 😅
Go on then, let's see you sitting on em'. 😂 The Xmas tree legs look like they might splay out completely once weight is applied. Fingers crossed. 🤪 🤞
