  • I really enjoy the #AMA format so I'm opening the floor to any questions you might have about me, this channel, or anything on your mind. I'm gonna leave this pretty open-ended and see what comes back. 😀

Any advice for someone currently going through the conversion (conservative) process? Things you wish you knew sooner, what was unexpected, useful resources you recommended? That kind of thing.

Have you looked into joining any women only/ modest gyms? Sorry if this is a random question but I know going to workout classes can be a pretty low pressure way to meet people in the community, especially for fellow introverts. I saw your videos about trying different schuls and I know it could be intimidating to try to make connections right after prayer because everyone is doing their own thing, rushing home for shabbas. Anyway I love your videos, and cant wait to learn more about your new life in Israel. Also what have you been doing to learn Hebrew? Have you taken any of the language classes Israel offers new arrivals?

Could you give us a little tour of your apartment? Also, have you found a Shul to start attending yet? I'm so happy you were able to make Aliyah!

I think about converting to Judaism a lot. Like every day. The thing that is holding me back is fear of not being accepted and being alone forever if I do convert. Do you have any thoughts or advice in this situation? Thank you for doing this!

I read your Reddit AMA and have some follow ups.
    - could you say more about why you think some Koreans may be partly descended from a lost tribe?
    - I was amazed by what seems to be your intrinsic motivation to learn, and to connect with hashem. I’m a secular Jew myself. Where does this motivation come from? Where does your belief in god come from? What makes you believe that the Torah is really from god and not just a code of law and stories assembled over the generations?

How do you handle imposter syndrome? How has it been as someone who had a conservative conversion but a more orthodox level of practice? Did you face any backlash from friends or family for making aliyah? Have there been any moments in your time in Yisrael where you felt particularly close to HaShem?

What do you need to do in order to be officially converted? What are your next steps? Did you change your last name to Ha-Meir? Is your family planning to visit you in Israel? Are you still working on House of Judah? If any of my questions is too personal or whatever I apologies, feel free to choose which one to answer :)

Do Americans get a shock in Israel when they experience that tough middle eastern culture? Also do Americans get surprised with how small Israel is and does this cause some to move? Does it bother people neighbouring countries are hostile to Israel?

Hi Meorah! I'm thinking about converting to Judaism (Reform Judaism). Have you any advice and tips for the converting process (how to apply, books to read, websites etc) please?
Also are interfaith marriages possible? Is it compulsory for Jewish women to have kids?
    Which denominations are Anti Zionism?
Is Shabbat valid if our relatives don't observe it?
Can we be buried in a regular cemetary (and cremated depending on the denomination)?
    Greetings from France 🧡

@Meorah Ha-Me'ir, If you had to choose Koren or Artscroll, which would it be and why? What are your current views about Jesus and the New Testament? What is your belief about the afterlife? What's your advice for someone who doesn't believe in the noahide laws but is interested in converting to Judaism when conversion isn't practical?

    • @snowwhitecupcakes272

I think it is confusing to want to convert to Judaism, where you are commanded to 613 mitzvah, but do not believe in the 7 Noahide laws. They go together.

Have you studied the Torah and the Tanakh often? As a Christian, I study the Old and New Testament books as one. I find the Old Testament has so much useful wisdom and beneficial history as well as so much prophecy. Many of the prophecies found in the Old Testament were about the coming Messiah and many were fulfilled when Jesus came to the Jewish people 2000 years ago, and His fulfilled prophecies as well as His teachings, miracles, and interactions with the Jewish religious leaders, are the foundation of the New Testament. The main reason most Jewish people at that time rejected their Messiah, and still reject Him today, is Because Jesus did not fulfill all prophecies, as He is coming back to take back His planet from our enemy: Satan. The first time, Jesus came as the Lamb of God to take away all sins from all who believe and receive Christ Jesus and His sacrifice, the second time Jesus comes, He will be the Lion from the tribe of Judah, a conquering King. This is why most Jewish people reject their messiah, they were waiting for someone like King David to deliver them and free them from their bondage and their oppression. Some Jews today are praying and studying the whole Bible and the Holy Spirit is revealing the Truth throughout the Bible and the New Testament and the Gospels of Christ Jesus.
Peace and blessings to you, in the wonderful name of Christ Jesus, I pray: Amen, Hallelujah, Peace, and Maranatha.

how do you feel about the jesus character.
from what i understand Christians put an emphases on the individual relationship with jesus.
even agnostic like bart ehrman, reminiscing on the relationship with jesus.
as a Christian you had dat?
also, from my experience no one talk about jesus in jewish circles, at all.
do you think he should be included in the continuty, not as a deity but as a character?
or you good with not count him at all?

I disagree with that statement. Yeshua didn’t cause any harm to Jews because he didn’t create Christianity. Paul did. Do you know that John 6:45 is in favor of the Jews in Judaism because it is quoted from Isaiah 54:13?

@@seriouslyiknowhowtoread I guess I would agree with you. He did make light of the commandments and he did tell many that unless someone believes in him that such a person would perish. But other than that he did give much hope to the hopeless. Healing both physical and emotional. You just can’t say that he was all bad.
