- One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the Coalition’s budget reply regarding migration was important so that all Australians “have a roof over their head”.
This comes amid Opposition leader Peter Dutton’s budget reply in which he announced he wants to cut down Migration by 25 per cent, put a two-year ban on foreign buyers and limiting international students.
“We’ve had a million people come into this country under the Labor party,” Ms Hanson told Sky News Australia.
“We see the problems that we have - congestion on roads, there’s 650,000 houses that we need now at the moment.
Ms Hanson said Peter Dutton’s “basically net-zero immigration” policy should be employed until all Australian’s “have a roof over their head”.

Common sense rarely mirrors reality, it just sounds good.
There is no such thing as common sense in a modern society this is why we have workplace training, licences to drive, university for doctors etc etc.

We just had a Yes or No referendum instigated by a political party that attracts only about 35% of vote. The way I understand it is that Labor believes that Australia belongs to the Aboriginal people. So, how come they are selling this land to foreigners if the land does not belong to us "Colonialists"? Does any politician actually asks the native people for permission to bring in more and more migrants? I'm not anti immigration, but for goodness sake, build the infrastructure and housing required first. Citizens should have a say in the numbers being approved. Instead of the wasted money spent on the voice, we should have used it on a referendum for immigration.

International students are great, but they are not a reliable way to make money for the government nor an
easy path to imigrate to Australia.
I also agree that the protests should be stopped when they become violent, interruptive or racist.
It’s the easiest path, enrol in some Mickey Mouse college that offers the easiest certificate even if you don’t speak English, you can also bring your whole family as dependents. Some of these “students”are in their 40s and 50s. Students my arse
