There's no doubt , you and Mrs Brown are good together . Mr Brown senior is looking well , working outside on the farm always did me good . Your fertiliser spreader is a fine tool . Congratulations on getting your corn started . Great video 👍🇬🇧
Glad to see you rolling got done with corn yesterday, got 55 acres to replant was going to do it late yesterday got .12 at farm 2 tenths mile where field is got 4 tenths still holding now to see more rain today
Hello Brian!! Thank you for taking the time off of planting to do the important stuff…like taking a 4-H goat to weigh-in!! LOVE it!!! You’re a GREAT dad AND farmer! We just chopped our rye for cattle feed. Need to plant those fields, but otherwise done planting here in Kansas! We don’t have as many acres to cover though! Blessings to you from your fellow UA-cam friends from Kansas!
Great video Brian. I liked the voice over while flying the drone. It's like a traffic report but it's a farm report of each piece of equipment. God bless.
Glad to see yaw back in the field they are finely getting to plant in west Tenn well we had to put my dad in the nursing home this week his mine is going fast we didn't know that there was a problem till we saw him the way he was this last weekend very bad.
Good to see the bossman in the field doing his thing, we are done planting corn overhere in the netherlands, about 2 weeks earlyer than. last year. Problem is we dont get any rain already for 4 weeks and the forecast is no bueno at least another 2weeks . We have to see how its turns out, anyways stay safe you all greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
It’s officially spring, pops’ beard is gone. His beard is like an almanac to gauge seasons😁😁😁y’all take care and be safe…God Bless you all🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻keep em comin 👍🏻
Brian glad everything seems to be going well. Glad got to see you Dad, seems like your Dad is right at home planting corn. Lol!! Times are busy you all stay safe. Catchya at the next one.
Over here in west central Indiana. I've never seen this many tractors and planters going. Some I know have corn done. A lot of beans going in. Planters started running full blast Tues. 24 and 16 row planters cover a lot of ground.
Good news Brian, from experience the overloaded gimbal motor will start to look straight down until you can only see the ground under the drone. That's time to get it repaired, which in Ozzie only cost me $800 AUD. Head in the visa time. The good news in all that is, that it can be repaired. Great videos Cheers.
When we strip tilled had a 16 row orthman then a 24 row planter, had rtk but I would nudge in the fall , bad mistake , throwed the planter off in the spring= mad dad!
Hello Brian, and family Could you discuss fertilizer prices and its impact on profits. Some news articles comments suggest a food shortage based on fertilizer prices and other variables. Just wanted a farmers perspective. Great video as always!
I would think? Especially with several persons working at different things. There would be a large map of areas. with a battle plan marked out and progress highlighted.
Mother Nature has been on the warpath this spring. We just had a whopper of a storm here in MN last night. We got lucky here & missed out on the really bad wind. I heard they had 110 MPH winds in places. I'm about 40 - 50 miles from both Zach Johnson & Larson Farms & they both had quite a bit of damage. Zach lost a bin & a shed with a couple of more bins damaged. I drove through the area & there a lot of trees down & several bins damaged. There are quite a few people that are still without power too I think. There are only a few farmers that have been able to do any fieldwork at all around here. Hope that changes soon.
Hey Brian, always Love watching your channel, BORDERVIEW FARMS and Nathan and SONNE FARMS , used to to do ALOT of the same things you guys still do, wish I still could, loved the farmers life, anything with equipment ESPECIALLY 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜,. KEEP UP THE AWESOME VIDEOS, CYA on your next video and BE SAFE 🚜🚜✌️👍😎
Does the time letting the soil settle make a difference on stand and emergence? Here there are still quite a few strip till bar and planters married together making it all a one pass operation.
Yield goes down after that date due to daylight!.. The days are getting longer until the summer soltice (June 22) then the start getting shorter... So yes the yield actually goes down! Wanna know how awesome longer days are worth, look at how big the food is they grow in Alaska! Long days in summer there!.. like very long...
Spending the extra money to add nutrients on wheat is an excellent idea, ESPECIALLY this year! There’s going to be a world wide wheat shortage & I say, let’s send American wheat overseas vs a $40 Billion slush fund for oligarchs.
Tony Fast just found a shovel in one of his fields….starting to wonder what ppl burying out there that they’re in so much of a rush to get away they leave the shovel. 😉
That looks like a cattle man or Ranchers snowmobile sled. When you feed pellets out of the back end of a wagon or a pickup. You scoop up pellets and tip it back while dragging it out to feed the cattle in the pasture or field. When the hole gets too big to hold pellets anymore you convert it over to a snowmobile sled .Tie a rope through the handle of the shovel and on the bar across the back of the snowmobile , and usually the Rancher with the most liquid courage in them rides the shovel. Amazing how well they track behind a snowmobile until the driver takes a sharp turn and gets on it. Then the fun begins. You lean into it until the shovel catches an edge and then you roll ass over teakettle. Wearing a helmet is strongly advised. Rope must have came loose they found the rider but not the shovel. My first thought from experience. Usually a long Winters night sport from boredom!
Did you hear about the major storm damage that Zack and Beck Johnson got, and I understand the Larson got hit real bad. I wish I can help, but pretty hard on the other side of the world.😀😀👍👍
You took the goats for a trip......... So either you ended up with a BIG bill (vet) or some tasty burgers !! As another UA-camr would say "are they alright".

Hey Brian, you should let your dad have the camera more often especially when he's planting or running the combine. I always enjoy his commentating
Sometimes he doesn’t use it lol. He had it all day and that was the only clip
The Golden Hour Big Little Bro ❤️😎🖖🏼
Heck. Here in my county in Minnesota we have hundreds of acres of corn still standing from last year, they are starting to harvest it now
The dual bins are great for fertilizer application. If you want to do lime that back bin has to come out and that is a bear of a chore!
Looking good, this was a great week for any kind of dirt work, and farming. Definitely curious to see what next week is gonna bring weather wise.
Great awesome video Brian , nice the corn planter is going , lots to do
Thanks for watching
Hope you get lots of corn in shortly.

Could you discuss fertilizer prices and its impact on profits. Some news articles comments suggest a food shortage based on fertilizer prices and other variables. Just wanted a farmers perspective.

It’s 3x higher than last year
I would think? Especially with several persons working at different things.
There would be a large map of areas. with a battle plan marked out and progress highlighted.
Why
Brian & family are farming the land not fighting a war, although I'm sure they sometimes feel as though they are! 😄
Blesses. Sorry typo.

would shovel help redistribute red/grey fertilizer?
Another good one men.
Brain if you used the Markers on the Corn planter you would have perfect rows of corn??????
No

Glad to see yall planting. Mother nature sure is being unkind this spring. Good to see all of yall in the field.
What about stripping in the fall after harvest would there be nutrient loss
No that would be ideal
Spending the extra money to add nutrients on wheat is an excellent idea, ESPECIALLY this year! There’s going to be a world wide wheat shortage & I say, let’s send American wheat overseas vs a $40 Billion slush fund for oligarchs.
Even more so given the Western Oklahoma wheat crop might not even be worth harvesting (not enough rain).
@@karlrovey have you noticed there’s either too much rain or complete heat & drought? It’s NOT a normal year anywhere for anything.
@@chrissyfrancis8952 That's pretty normal.
Hey Brian. Do you notice a yield difference in corn and soybeans between broadcasting your fertilizer or banding it?
How do you see anything with all the stickers on window of what not to do even though you are going to do it?

Is your camera lady your grain cart driver this year?
What’s your weather outlook look like? Ours wet in Australia at the moment
Looking warm and dry for the most part of the upcoming week
I feel like you could put a bigger bucket on the JCB Brian ??
The bays on the tender truck are only 72” and that’s the only 72” wide bucket we have
Brian where the F did the shovel come from Toledo ! Thanks Bff
Golden nuggets
Brian. How do guys determine what field needs fertilizer, potash and chemicals. You guys test your own soil?
We have a company do the soil tests and determine what the ground needs
I figured out why you end up finishing a field at the end farthest from the entrance. It's because that's the only time you notice.
I'm sure maybe you said but how did those 30 inch beans turn out
No difference between 15” other than being harder to combine
Did you hear about the major storm damage that Zack and Beck Johnson got, and I understand the Larson got hit real bad.
