How hard is it to get the MP mos in the marines? Is the job really hard to get or is there a lot of spots? I heard the airforce has a lot of spots for secuirty forces which is basically mp for them but I rather join the marines
Fahim Khan I would tell you this. Make your recruiter work. Don’t sign a contract or agree to go to MEPS until you have the MOS YOU WANT. This is going to be the next 4 years of your young life. That recruiter is a salesman. He wants to sell you the Marine Corps, MOS is mildly interesting to him. Once he has you with a ship to basic training date (boot camp), he could care less. Fuck him. He’ll act like he’s your boy, but unless you have a set of breasts on you, he could give a shit. Study and score well on your ASVAB, that’s the most important, and only choose the MOS you truly want. Don’t settle, you will be miserable. Let that asshole earn your contract, and if you don’t like what he has to offer, thank him and go somewhere else. Plenty of USMC recruiters out there hurting for bodies. Remember, do you now, cause your ass belongs to the Corps once you step on those yellow footprints. I wish I would’ve received this advice 25 years ago. My recruiter was a skirt chasing clown who was a liar and did the bare minimum unless u had a cootchie. Watch your back, their all snakes and good luck.
