I feel like this song has the potential to become a classic country christmas song. It's such a beautifully written song with timeless and relatable lyrics.
I agree...so much emotion and things we can all relate to. I was driving to my grandmothers house last night to see my grandpa...it is my grannys birthday and we lost her to old age in september. first christmas without my sweet grandmother in 45 years. I had to pull over when this song came on. This song is a classic to me wether the rest of the world and the test of time agree or not.
Hey there. I'm sorry to here about your grandmother. My family and I have been spending the holidays without our grandma for the past few years now. Christmas time is different without her but the new additions (nieces, nephews) to the family definitely help make it fun again. Also songs like this help too. So hang in there and remember all the good memories. PS: Merry Christmas to you and your family. :)
Omg I literally tell EVERYONE that every chance I get. Even during the summer here in Texas lol When she performed it during her Christmas special, it spoke to my fkn soul & I was BALLING. Tbh, the holidays don't feel as bad when you know you aren't hurting alone...
My homegirl Kacey was blessed at a young age in Mineola Texas to be the best country singer in years and since she arrived on the scene continues to be the penultimate singer. Keep on singing about rainbows and butterflies and you will continue to make a lot of people happy.
Thank you so much for putting this together. I was getting tired of having to press the replay button. Your video will be playing in my house come December!
It's all red and gold and Nat King Cole and tinsel on the tree It's all twinkle lights and snowy nights and kids still believe And I know that they say, "Have a happy holiday" And every year, I sincerely try Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry It's the ones we miss, no one to kiss under the mistletoe Another year gone by, just one more that I, I couldn't make it home And I know that they say, "Have a happy holiday" And every year, I swear I sincerely try Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry Always Seems like everybody else is having fun I wonder if I'm the only one Who's broken heart still has broken parts just wrapped in pretty paper And it's always sad seeing mom and dad getting a little grayer And they always say, "Have a happy holiday" And every year, I sincerely try Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry
This is beautiful...she Glammed up for Christmas which is enriching to the holiday! The words to this song are relatable and deeply stir the soul. Thank you for sharing. I'm from a long line of country music💝🎶💝🎶
In another era, this would become a classic. But the bastards who have to be "happy" all the time will never allow it. Positive all the time leaves the rest of us in the ditch. Maybe that's how they want us. But we can still enjoy it.
love her voice. greatly dislike her politics. you may say why bring politics into it. I say the same thing to the artists that like to use their platform for politics. just keep quite and sing.
Okay now I've actually broke down with happiness she does it all even your grandma and grandpa may enjoy this one probably. I honestly can't imagine more Channel from her wanting to burn one with John Prine and doing this. That girl ain't no joke from Royal Albert Hall TO FARM AID. The word talented doesn't even touch or describe that wonderful soul
Yeah I want to cry because I can't be with Kacey Musgraves at Graceland this year Christmas because I was born in Memphis Tennessee in 1964 my mom new Elvis and his stepmother Graceland and look at all the beautiful lights the way he had it set up and he wanted to take me home a couple times let Kacey Musgraves Musgraves have the best of the best Christmases ❤😊🛫⚘️🎄🛬🤗😘
Why is this song 20 minutes long, with and endless repetition of the same words? It was beautiful the first 5 minutes, then it just gets monotonous. Add another verse maybe? She is certainly beautiful, but 20 minutes of the same words is insane.

What a gorgeous song and performance......and performer. Ladies and Gentlemen, our next Dolly Parton. Go Kacey!
Lovely tune it made me cry 😢 xx
She's doing her own thing. That's the beautiful part of who she is !!!
Her beauty takes my breath away!
Great song. She's gorgeous.
Kacey looks so gorgeous here--like a movie star
It's the makeup hiding her beauty infact. She's actually naturally beautiful
God she is one beautiful woman and a good singer
Thank you so much for this version.

She’s beautiful and perfect in every way 😭
She never fails to amaze me.
It's all red and gold and Nat King Cole and tinsel on the tree
It's all twinkle lights and snowy nights and kids still believe
And I know that they say, "Have a happy holiday"
And every year, I sincerely try
Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry
It's the ones we miss, no one to kiss under the mistletoe
Another year gone by, just one more that I, I couldn't make it home
And I know that they say, "Have a happy holiday"
And every year, I swear I sincerely try
Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry
Always
Seems like everybody else is having fun
I wonder if I'm the only one
Who's broken heart still has broken parts just wrapped in pretty paper
And it's always sad seeing mom and dad getting a little grayer
And they always say, "Have a happy holiday"
And every year, I sincerely try
Oh, but Christmas, it always makes me cry
Thanks for this Stu... It's wonderful.... because Christmas does always make me cry.

Ms. Musgraves, Wonderful song. I thought I was the only one that felt this way!
This song makes me feel like I am not the only one who is a basket case at Christmas.
Definitely the longest Christmas song ever. Well done 👍

Thank you for posting this!
Beautiful
Her dress is so beautiful omg
Thank you
love this song
Is it possible to fall in love, merely over someone's voice? 🤣 She's truly one of my favourites. It's amazing how much wgt she lost, in 2020/1.
Puttin off Dolly vibes
❤️❤️
she reminds me of katy perry in 2010s
op...nicely done. thank you.
It seems like she is just the girl for me
What show is this from? This might actually be the best version of it she's done. The emotion in her voice in this rendition is heartbreaking.
My parents kissed beneath the mistletoe
Didn't know this song is old
You know this is the shit
hozier
I love her voice. Too bad she's lip syncing.
