28:11 Fun fact, MMM over there is even more useless than they first appear. They can only be used to summon a Magikey synchro or xyz monster. Fusion is fine, but that never happens anyway.
When they said it was a good card they were talking about it’s ethical code. That card’s spirit it’s very well mannered.

"They don't deserve sleeves" is what I said about my nimble anglers way back in the day. I never knew such a random common card could go for almost $10 a pop. I had 4 and all of them in putrid conditions, haha. You never know what yugioh card will 100x in price these days.

Unless Im mistaken Trell has a very very good win streak in these kinds of duels. And yet he's the most vocal in calling his deck bad hahaha
He typically does well wish random cards like this. Though the last eBay duel didn't quite turn out in his favor...

I have no idea how anybody plays like that. I struggle with draft because I feel like I didn't get a chance to spend time choosing what went in.
@@incredibleflameboy Personally, I love draft duels. Its currently the only "game mode" I play with my friends when it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh.
We dont open boosters though, Just grab their extra stashes. Randomly get 300 cards. Then split to 150 cards for both players. Pretty fun
@@EC-rk2zl don't get me wrong I like to draft but I'm very bad at it. I only get success when I brew with a clear plan in mind before starting.
This opens up a really good conversation about the problem with TCG. The scamming, eating off of players who are just new to the game, as well as ripping off players with these prices for something that's 'good'. This is a part of the problem with introducing people to TCG.

These duels make me appreciate the old cards you guys get in the random ebay packages. At least those make kinda playable decks
I do sometimes want to find a balance with slightly more themed, playable decks instead.

I think ppl would like to see your guys decks and then remake them and play them like this is my favorite yugitubers deck so ima use it u know I feel like u guys have the fans for it.. just a thought but I would love to see it

I do like these random deck challenges, but while this was a pleasant experience, I didn't understand a lot of the duel, even with effect readings, because I didn't know most of the cards.
If you could do stuff like flashing a card on screen so viewers can read its effect, I'd appreciate that, but if not, it's fine! Thanks for uploading!

Really liked this episode. I like the feeling of old school Yu-Gi-Oh. I stopped ten years ago or some more I don't remember. I still remember I stopped liking the meta after blackwing, it was the start of modern Yu-Gi-Oh... Prefered so much the slow paced games!!

Good luck, its not the game you used to play for sure. Be prepared for 30 minute first turns which end on five boss monsters which negate everything you can do

You can tell that low powered Libromancer can't do anything up ahead low powered Virtual World. This was still great, hope to see more deck challenge duels like these!

So I think this is one of the first times I actually was like "Meh video". No graphics, close ups, and because of how random it was; of course, strategy wasn't even there. So I guess I'm in the mindset of who this video is for besides your more dedicated audience? I wonder if your "Rare Hunters" videos are the highest viewed for your team? I say that because classic Yugioh after the later sets (end of the original sets and Beginning of 5Ds) I think was some of the more "balanced" in terms of back and forth game play before everything became HEAVILY archetype based where cards would only work together via the archetype. But I think things like GOAT format and even Plant engine days has more variety just because you could literally make something unique. That's why your "Rare Hunters" videos IMO are soo cool because of that classic "building strategies from scratch" mindset instead of pre-built strategies like when Blackwings first became a thing. Again just my opinion but might help the Subscriber count.

i think in cases like this where someone just needs one card to make a deck work they are allowed to add like one card of their choosing
We tried to at least get a decent card in our opening hands but that didn't exactly work lol
@@TeamAPS yeah i think adding outside cards to make decks not total bricks would help make more interesting content although some love to see two bricks slug it out.

Lol at 17:00 is the exact reason i quit playing yu-gi-oh. I had no idea what happened here. Cards just started flying everywhere and so much crap happened. Duel Monsters will always be the best era of Yu-gi-oh.

I remember when I ordered a pack of random XYZ monsters back when ZEXAL was still new.. I got it really cheap. I was super happy because I got a lot of great XYZ monsters. They gave me somewhere between 10-20 cards. Plus they were a holos. Sorry Paul 😂

This is why Yugioh can't work with a standard pack rotation like Magic does, the moment an archetype's engine gets dismantled it's just a slapfight with vanillas that have too much effect text.
Y’all should do a all ban list tournament.
I want to see what I call theultimate booster pack challenge basically you get two booster packs of your choosing from all the booster packs that have existed and your opponent chooses the third one you show each other the first two that you have and then your opponent will then give you your third one and then you got to build a deck from it you got to flip a coin to see if you're going to play with 60 or 40 cards and you have to at least use five cards from each booster pack
You should try the elemental hero structure deck and destiny hero structure deck duel
maginificent magikey mafteal cant be used for a synchro summon execpt for a magikey synchro monster so going into that virtual world synchro monster was illigeal 28:05

if the monster isnt on top of the deck then that nullifies the effect
