Completely relatable video we had a cat go from OK to dead in 30 minutes. Time is definitely movinf that’s for sure 😂 Maybe that can be a video idea, tech that enhances time spent with family? Futuristic board games or futuristic journals. I’m not sure but you may be able to build a video out of that topic - It all else fails you csn vlog a deck building series or go on a family vacation of vlog it so it’s a tax write off lol

A video update on how different smart home brands stand up in today 2024 would be really cool, there's a lot of videos about smart home platforms updates Through the years but not enough about brands (like switchbot, kasa, Aquara, ring etc). What brands are still reliable, what brands have been improved and which ones got worse over the years for example

As a viewer, I don’t care if the video has a sponsorship I just fast-forward anyways, so get that money. Don’t be shy to take on a sponsorship thinking that your viewers will think you sold out, that’s not the case. You provide great contact and you shouldn’t struggle to provide for your family.

Yes, UA-cam does pay attention to whether you fast forward or just stop the video and leave. He received all those metrics to help him figure out how to produce future videos in ways more viewers might be willing to stay and watch all the way through. NOTE: There’s a difference between sponsorships and commercials. He creates the sponsored segments himself, like the bit he did with Luna (RIP), and you can FF through that, but he has no control exactly which commercials play before, during, or after.
I am so sorry and have been there myself. A year ago we lost three one 6 months after the other and then the 3rd which was already old when we got her passed away about 3 months after the second one. They were 1516 and 16. It was a lab mix, a Pomeranian mix, and Chihuahua that we got after my wife's grandpa passed away and nobody else wanted to take her in the family. It was one of the most heartbreaking times of my life and we have rotating pictures of them on our smart home devices that I don't know, helped or hurt, but we definitely think of them everyday. At this moment I'm watching you sitting next to my brand new 10-week-old lab Buffy that I got for my birthday. Allow yourself time to grieve and realize that each of you will grieve in your own way. Here is the champion of last year and now here's the new competitors that have come out and how do they compare? Unrelated, I put my dog down 20 years ago and I still have her tags on my keychain. Sadness is part of grieving but when yo'ure ready, don't be sad she's gone be happy that you had her for 11 years and she had the great life you gave her.

It's a challenge to sort through all the blueprints on the Exchange to find what you need AND will for your environment. It's still a few revisions away for HA, but a future project is a beginner guide to true voice and AI implementation for dynamic automations.
So sorry - we just had to put our 14 year old labrador to sleep and it was so *hard.* We felt so blessed though, that we had so many good wonderful years with her. What an amazing experience to have had a pup that you feel you can't live without. Not all dogs are that way and not all dogs are blessed with a family like yours! So sorry to hear about Luna 😢 I went through something similar a few months ago with my cat. He had an embolism and I rushed to the vet and turns out he had heart disease. Decided to put him down as well so I know how hard it is to have to make that choice. Pets are totally a huge part of family and it really showed the way you included Luna in your videos and smart home automations. Looking forward to your tutorial for setting up HA!

I am so sorry for your loss.. I lost both my black cat and rescue dog 6 months ago.. yes it is really hard to put them down but at least they go in their sleep, at peace. You are a good owner.

So sorry to hear about Luna. We lost both our dog (after 15 years) and our cat (after 11 years) with 2 months apart last year. It was very hard. We have a new dog now, and she fills our days again! I agree fully about the HA blueprints. I never used them either because it was not easy to edit them to your liking. And today, because of the new "take control", I used a blueprint and edited it to my liking! Keep up the good content!

I had to put one of my dogs down (Snoopy, she was 17 and suffered from heatstroke) That was super hard to do and hurt soooo much so I fully understand and hope you're family is OK. My other dog Charlie is 20 and starting to slow down. Not gonna be happy when that times comes. Love the channel and keep up the great work. Maybe cover different HA installation options like Raspberry, VM on Windows & Synology container. And how to create your own dashboards.

I had to put my boy marble down last year. 17 years old deaf sheltie. I adopted him at 5. It was by far the hardest thing ive ever had to do. even a year later i still tear up thinking about him. Sorry for your loss, but feel happy knowing you gave her an amazing loving wonderful home!

I would like to see sensors that aren’t battery operated. I have given up on battery operated one since I have yet to have one last more than six months. Especially water sensors.
So sorry for your loss my boy got really sick this month here in arizona my wife spent like 6 nights on the couch taking care of him because he couldn't lay down and get comfortable it took awhile just when we decided to stop playing doctor and go to the vet he finally got better

I am so sorry for your loss.. I lost both my black cat and rescue dog 6 months ago.. yes it is really hard to put them down but at least they go in their sleep, at peace. You are a good owner.

So sorry to hear about Luna. We lost both our dog (after 15 years) and our cat (after 11 years) with 2 months apart last year. It was very hard. We have a new dog now, and she fills our days again!
I agree fully about the HA blueprints. I never used them either because it was not easy to edit them to your liking. And today, because of the new "take control", I used a blueprint and edited it to my liking!

I had to put one of my dogs down (Snoopy, she was 17 and suffered from heatstroke) That was super hard to do and hurt soooo much so I fully understand and hope you're family is OK. My other dog Charlie is 20 and starting to slow down. Not gonna be happy when that times comes.

I had to put my boy marble down last year. 17 years old deaf sheltie. I adopted him at 5. It was by far the hardest thing ive ever had to do. even a year later i still tear up thinking about him. Sorry for your loss, but feel happy knowing you gave her an amazing loving wonderful home!

As for content. I would like to see sensors that aren’t battery operated. I have given up on battery operated one since I have yet to have one last more than six months. Especially water sensors.

So sorry for your loss my boy got really sick this month here in arizona my wife spent like 6 nights on the couch taking care of him because he couldn't lay down and get comfortable it took awhile just when we decided to stop playing doctor and go to the vet he finally got better
